Art inspiration by organic shapes of architect Antoni Gaudi

The bachelor thesis named Art inspiration by organic shapes of architect Antoni Gaudí consists of two parts, a theoretical and a practical one. The theoretical part deals with the architect Antonio Gaudí, mainly his life and the times during which he was active and the original work he presented to the world. Next, the thesis deals with his main source of inspiration, nature. The practical part is partly based on the theoretical one. It is the realization of Gaudí's building through graphical methods.

Mosaic techniques and their use for a second grade of primary school

The main topic for this theoretic-practical thesis is mosaic and its techniques. The main goal in the theoretical part of the thesis is to introduce the readers with this technique and its issues. The thesis deals with mosaic in general, from understanding the definitions which are necessary to clarify the issue, over the techniques, history, but also suggestions and the overall evolution of this craft/art/creation. The history of mosaic occupies the largest part of the thesis. Neglected is neither the Czech mosaic and its development. The whole one chapter is dedicated to this theme. A part of the theoretical chapter is a brief summary of the use of mosaics at schools. The practical part of the thesis will be dedicated to authorial creation and a sample lesson using mosaic at elementary school.

Antonio Gaudi's Sagrada Familia and his Barcelona creation.

In my bachelor´s thesis Antonio Gaudi´s Sagrada Familia and his Barcelona work I deal with all Gaudi´s works which were built in Barcelona. Simultaneously I follow up the constructions which he designed as a student for Barcelona´s enviroment. I briefly mention the works which were built but then removed. At the beginning of this bachelor´s thesis, for a better orientation, I introduce a map of Barcelona where individual works are displayed. I describe their structure, history of the area and the owner. I deal in detail with the interior decoration and equipment. I devote special attention to the still unfinished church Sagrada Familia, where I focus on the architect´s peculiar iconography and his theological concept. I also describe in detail Gaudi´s life. In the final part of the bachelor´s thesis I point out to the lack of Czech professional literature.
