ČOUDKOVÁ, Eva
The aim of this work was evaluation of the efficiency of the selection of the stallions to the Acceleration programme. The effort was the comparison of the stallions registered and unregistered in the Acceleration programme. For comparison it was used the evaluation of their conformation, sports performance and the evaluation of their offsprings, that means mares assessed in the Performance test for three-years-old based on the evaluation of the conformation and the performance. It is evident from the results, that the rate of registered stallions in the Acceleration programme is more than 35% in the last years. Difference between registered and unregistered stallions in their performance was statistically validated, but not in their conformation. At the evaluation of the offsprings, it was proved only difference in performance (7,66 point compared to 7,38), but not in the conformation between mares by fathers registered and unregistered in the Acceleration programme.
