Evaluation of the Financial Situation in the Company and Proposals to Its Improvement

Presented master’s degree thesis provides an insight into financial situation of a selected wine production company in a specific period of time (2009 – 2013). The data has been based on own experience, technical literature, and private resources as well. The results include identification of several general theoretical foundations, special methods for the company's financial condition assessment, extensive information pool concerning the company, and precise elaboration of financial analysis. As far as thesis conclusions are concerned, several measures have been designed to provide an effective basis for both successful and sustainable company's management in the future.

Zhodnocení investičního záměru na otevření nové pobočky kadeřnického salónu

Rohrerová, J. Evaluation of an investment plan to open a new branch of the hair salon. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2015. Bachelor thesis deals with the identification and evaluation of risks arising from investments in newly opened branch of the hair salon. The Bachelor thesis is divi-ded into two main parts - a literature review and an own work. In the literature review there are described basic terms, methods of assessment of investment and risks of investment project. Own work deals with evaluation of investments based on selected methods, strategic analysis of enterprise and subsequent identification of risks. Elimination of the risks is discussed in the chapter Proposals and Recommendations. Interpretation of the results is summarized in the chapter Discussion of results with subsequent valuations of investments on the basis of proposals and recommendations that result in possible additional costs and income received from investments.

Návrh změny podnikové strategie v odvětví pekárenství

This thesis deals with the elaboration of draft effective business strategies for companies operating in the baking industry. The theoretical part deals with the processing of knowledge from the literature, which are then used in the practical part. The proposed findings and results based on the analysis of the external and internal environment of monitored companies. When analyzing the external environment is investigated using the macroenvironment PEST analysis and microenvironments based on the analysis of sectoral environment and Porter's five forces model. For the analysis of the internal environment is used McKinsey 7S model and analysis of competitiveness. The financial situation of enterprises is evaluated relative indicators as tools of financial analysis. Using the EFE and IFE matrix are processed factors external and internal environment. Results from internal and external analysis are used to generate internal-external matrix IE and SWOT matrix through which identifies a strategy for enterprises engaged in the baking industry.
