Intelligent Energy Measurements for Homeowners' Association Using 5G Networks
Horčička, Patrik ; Možný, Radek (referee) ; Mašek, Pavel (advisor)
Theoretical analysis of IoT communication technologies LPWAN. A more detailed analysis of 5G-IoT technologies in the licensed frequency band, such as NB-IoT and LTE Cat-M. List of supported application protocols for IoT devices (MQTT, CoAP, LwM2M, DLMS/COSEM) with more detailed information about DLMS/COSEM. Quectel UMTS \& LTE EVB kit with BG770A-GL module was used to create the first reference 5G-IoT device. Measuring of radio properties in two locations. Creation of TLS tunnel for communication between Virtual computer and RPI designed for DLMS/COSEM data.
Control Procedure Analysis in EPS-IMS Networks
Šubrt, Jan ; Červenák, Rastislav (referee) ; Novotný, Vít (advisor)
The master thesis is focused on control procedures in EPS-IMS networks. Firstly the thesis describes systems IMS and EPS. The second part of thesis includes the theory of control procedures in EPS such as cell acquisition, random access procedure, identification of subscriber, authentication of subscriber, security procedures, tracking area procedure, default bearer creation, implementation of CSFB procedure and detach procedure. Processes related to subsystem IMS such as registration to IMS, bearer creation for IMS signalling and voice service VoLTE are the next part of thesis. The next main topic is the VoLTE implementation problematic and VoLTE cooperation with diverse terminals. There is also explained the principle of Circuit Switched Fallback for realization voice services in EPS without VoLTE service. All procedures mentioned above except of procedures which are related to IMS were captured and analyzed using software Wireshark and QualiPoc. The final part of the thesis is lab task creation based of the analyzed messages.
Modern Methods of Speech Coding for Mobile Network Transmission
Krásný, Vojtěch ; Sysel, Petr (referee) ; Smékal, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis describes speech’s signals coding techniques used especially in 2G and 3G cellular networks, describes their evolution and aims in great detail at todays most perspective way of coding based on ACELP technology, codec AMR-WB.
Weight sensing of beehives with IoT connectivity
Havránek, Daniel ; Frýza, Tomáš (referee) ; Kufa, Jan (advisor)
The purpose of this work is to make a device that can measure some beehive parameters, that can inform you about the conditions in a beehive. These parameters are beehive weight, inner and ambient temperature, inner and ambient humidity and air pressure. The device allows to send the measured data wirelessly through the 2G network and interpret the results in appropriate way. Low power consumption is desirable due to working without the reach of the distribution network.
