The Morzin Orchestra in Dolní Lukavice – Old Findings 20 Years Later
Kapsa, Václav
The brief engagement of Joseph Haydn in the services of count Morzin has been treated by many researchers, most prominently by Milan Poštolka and Howard C. Robbins Landon. The present study aims to look back two decades later and examine their research outcomes as well as the sources they drew on, with the aim of outlining possible areas on which future research of the Morzin orchestra may focus.
