Empty Nest Syndrome as a Factor Affecting Life of Women in Todays Society

This thesis is just theoretical, divided into four main parts. In the first part the basic concepts are allotted. The second and the third part feature women in mean and late adult age. These two parts follow physiological, but especially psychical and social changes, that go with these phases of women's adult age. The fourth part of thesis is devoted to empty nest syndrome as a serious psychosocial problem of women between the ages of 40 {--} 60 years. It results from previous parts and describes time period, cause of uprise of empty nest syndrome and possible effects. In the last chapter we can find some possibilities how to solve these phenomenon.
