Baby Center Šikulka - Actual problems in the area of social work with parents and their children

The topic of this work is the Baby Center Šikulka in České Budějovice and the current problems in social work with parents and their children. This work is a descriptive research dealing with the overall concept and individual activities of a specific institution in the České Budějovice. The introductory part is aimed at clarifying the basic concepts related to the given issue and the presentation of the Baby Center Šikulka in České Budějovice, a description of the activities of the center and the activities offered. At the end of this section are examples of good practice. The qualitative research was chosen for the practical part using the structured interview technique with open questions. The research was conducted with ten employees responding to the Sikulka Baby Center. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to present the most serious problems encountered in the life of contemporary Czech families and to show how the specific equipment can be involved in their prevention and overcoming; at the same time, identify difficulties and difficulties that prevent the Center from developing activities and propose some optimization measures. Two research questions were identified to meet these objectives. The first research question is, what problems, difficulties, obstacles are faced by the employees of Baby Center Sikulka. The second question identifies what solutions to identified deficiencies are considered as possible and effective by respondents. The results show that the Baby Center Sikulka does not have any serious problems, but there are occasional organizational problems or violations of the visitor and operating rules. Some respondents also suggested ways to improve the current range of activities and activities.
