Design of Load Bearing Concrete Structure
Klodner, Jan ; Vácha, Jaroslav (referee) ; Štěpánek, Petr (advisor)
This thesis is focusing on general issues of floor concrete slabs, technology, implementation, subsoil models, calculation of internal forces and design approaches. Based on these data the thesis monitors the behaviour of floor slabs according to the various parameters. It also includes three versions of design of the real floor slab, made of steel fibre reinforced concrete, reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete. Economic comparison is also included. In addition it developes a design of the chalice base and reinforced concrete column of the supporting hall system, instead of the original usual base with steel column.
Reinforced concrete structure design in accordance with EC 2 and ACI 318
Tesárková, Václava ; Laníková, Ivana (referee) ; Šimůnek, Petr (advisor)
This work deals with the analysis of reinforced concrete structures according to the currently valid standard EN 1992-1-1 (EC 2) compared with the analysis according to the American standard ACI 318-08. Static solution includes an assessment of slab in local supports, calculation of columns and footings according to 1st critical state for both standards. The slab is also assessed according to the 2st critical state according to EC 2.
The issue of determination of the static modulus of elasticity of concrete in structures
Halamová, Romana ; Misák, Petr (referee) ; Kocáb, Dalibor (advisor)
The thesis deals with the measurement of the elastic modulus of concrete in existing structures and possibilities of applicability of equations for the calculation of characteristic values of concrete compressive strength on the modulus of elasticity. The modulus of elasticity is determined by dynamic and static methods on specimens taken from the concrete blocks, whose composition varies by a water cement ratio and varying amounts of admixtures. In conclusion, the results of the measurements are compared and the characteristic values of the modulus of elasticity is determined.
Assessment of the load-bearing capacity of selected concrete structure detail using different design approaches
Koriťáková, Martina ; Januš, Ondřej (referee) ; Girgle, František (advisor)
The thesis deals with processing of method of determining the load-bearing capacity of elements subjected to shear force according to three different approaches. It includes design and subsequent assesment of the frame beam with variable cross-section according to individual approaches and corresponding drawing documentation. Coparison of individual approache is also performed by using a parametric study.
The two way prestressed floor slab
Prášek, Martin ; Perla, Jan (referee) ; Klusáček, Ladislav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis focuses on design and check of pre-stress concrete slab of multifunctional building. Designed floor slab is purposed as office spaces. Method of preliminary design was established as method balancing self-weight load. The result is check of designed structure on service limit state, ultimate limit state and drawings
Serviceability limit states - the use of different design approaches for a crack width calculation.
Puža, Martin ; Lyčka, Lukáš (referee) ; Girgle, František (advisor)
The theoretical part of theses focuses on assessment of crack width by calculation according to three different design approaches with subsequent comparison in parametric study. The work also includes a design and assessment of reinforced concrete girder of asymmetric variable cross-section by ČSN EN 1992-1-1 with corresponding drawing documentation.
Design procedure of RC members according to EC and ACI
Gabčová, Kateřina ; Laníková,, Ivana (referee) ; Šimůnek, Petr (advisor)
The work deals with the analysis of reinforcement constructions according to ACI 318-08 and with comparing to static solution according to ČSN EN 1992-1-1. The work includes the analysis of girder and column. The assessment of these structures in terms of the 1st critical state – carrying capacity and the 2nd critical state – serviceability.
Comparison of RC structure design approach according to EC and EN
Hamrlík, Martin ; Laníková, Ivana (referee) ; Šimůnek, Petr (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the opinion of an office building from the perspective of two different standards and comparing their approaches. These standards is a currently valid European Standard EN 1992-1-1 (EC2) and standard according to US standards ACI 318-11. In this work were considered pillars in the second basement and on the first floor. Was also assessed locally supported slab above the 1st floor and staircase connects the individual floors. All the completed elements were assessed according to the 1st ultimate limit state.
The comparison of design procedures according to ACI 318 and EN 1992
Janča, Tomáš ; Laníková, Ivana (referee) ; Šimůnek, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the comparison of design method of concrete constructions according to currently valid European standard EN 1992 and American standards ACI 318. For comparison was selected parts of the office building. In this work was assessed locally supported slab, columns and staircase.
Reinforced concrete load bearing structure of administration building
Pražan, Jiří ; Kadlec, Jaroslav (referee) ; Girgle, František (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the static solution of the loadbearing reinforced concrete structure of the administrative three-storey building. Specifically, the most loaded inner column on the ground floor and the point-supported, two way, reinforced concrete floor slab above the ground floor with a circumferential shear beam are solved. The structure is designed and checked for the ultimate limit state according to standard ČSN EN 1992-1-1 ed2, including the Z1 amendment from May 2016.
