Design and production of a CNC engraving machine using an LED laser module
Novotný, Matěj ; Zemčík, Oskar (referee) ; Dvořáková, Jana (advisor)
This work focuses on the evaluation of the current state of the art and comparison of the properties of beam unconventional technologies. It discusses laser devices and the engraving process. It then focuses on the design and fabrication of a CNC engraving machine assembly using LED laser module. It describes the components used individually, their function, features, equipment to design and then the complete physical assembly of the device. Functionality was tested based on several engraving and cutting tests. Finally, the economic part of the project was discussed.
A proposal of technology for the two-disc home grinder
Martinka, Jiří ; Zemčík, Oskar (referee) ; Sliwková, Petra (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of the production technology of the selected part. The chosen part comes from a two-disc home production made at the turn of the 1980s and 90s. It is a body that consists of five produced components. The work is elaborated with the body of the grinder and individual parts. A brief distribution of grinding machines and a theoretical analysis of used machining technologies. Above all, they are turning technologies, as well as drilling technologies, milling and folding. Materials and semi-finished products from which they will be produced were chosen for the individual part of the grinder body. Selected machinery and tool equipment, processed technological procedures of production for individual components of grinding agents and drawing documentation.
Design of a dynamometer holder for a turning center
Vystrčil, Ondřej ; Zemčík, Oskar (referee) ; Kolomý, Štěpán (advisor)
This thesis summarizes the possibilities of measuring the load on cutting during turning, the operational principle, and the requirements for operating the Kistler 9257B dynamometer. Within this study, several conceptual designs of the dynamometer holder for the SP 280 SY CNC turning centre were proposed. The best design was selected based on spatial considerations and collisions with the machine. The construction of individual components of the selected holder design was resolved. Necessary calculations and simulations for the safe operation of the holder were also performed. Based on the 3D model, CNC machine programs were created for machining the individual parts. Subsequently, the designed holder was manufactured and tested in the device. No deviations were found during the tests compared to the normal operation of the machine without the dynamometer holder.
Production technology design for an engine head of the tractor UR2 and UR4
Kurjak, Dávid ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the design of a new technology for machining UR–II and UR–IV cylinder heads, which are cast from grey cast iron. This is a transition from single – purpose centres to universal machining centres. At the beginning of the work, there is information about the given component, information about the used material and a brief description of the original technology. This is followed by the design of a new technological procedure, the choice of tools and gauges, fixtures for clamping and the selection of suitable machines for processing. The work also includes a technical – economic evaluation of new and original technology.
Production of a working replacement part of a blender using the FDM printer
Bruštík, Adam ; Kupčák, Radim (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis is devoted to designing variants of kitchen appliance gearing, subsequent production via FDM 3D printing method and the evaluation of its technical and economical aspect. The research in a theoretical part briefly describes an issue of worm gears and FDM method. The selection of the most suitable variant is assessed on the basis of the results achieved with FEM.
Production of sunglases parts using a 3D FDM printer
Řepa, Dominik ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the design of specific sunglasses produced by the FDM 3D printing method. The theoretical part contains characteristics of sunglasses and their production, characteristics of individual 3D printing methods, materials, 3D printer components and parameters for 3D printing of the model. In the experimental part, the 3D printed samples, which were heat treated to different temperatures, were subjected to a mechanical tensile test. In the next experimental part, regular sunglasses were subjected to hinge strength measurements. The evaluated parameters were evaluated and applied to the model. The resulting model was verified using FEM and a physical prototype of the sunglasses was subsequently created.
3D printing production technology
Babušík, Bedřich ; Zemčík, Oskar (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with plastic materials and related terminology. Subsequently the possibilities of machining of plastics are analyzed, both from the perspective of conventional methods and from the view of the modern technologies. Furthermore a research on alternative 3D printing methods was conducted. The processing of individual manufacturing technologies was described in detail. This is followed by a research on the dimensions of common smartphones on the market. The concept design of a smartphone holder to be used in car was created, this includes 3D printing of the prototype by using the FDM method. Last but not least a methodology of testing was created to test the prototype of smartphone holder. In conclusion a technical-economic evaluation and discussion were conducted, mainly focusing on potential future improvements of the smartphone holder.
Design of production technology of a measuring device for optical measurement
Večerka, Martin ; Zemčík, Oskar (referee) ; Sliwková, Petra (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design of technology for the production of the mentioned part of the company. Meopta s.r.o. The thesis deals with the issues of machining, heat treatment and cutting materials. The main part of the bachelor thesis consists in the selection of suitable machines and cutting tools to achieve the desired properties and parameters of the part. In the end of the work the technological procedure is elaborated.
Production technology for mechanical seal flanges
Stoklasa, Patrik ; Gregor, Lukáš (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the current technological process of the mechanical seal flange production. It contains an analysis of all tool and material equipment, the process itself and it describes selected cutting conditions and measuring aids. Variant production of technology is also characterized here, where the applied changes are described and explained in order to achieve lower costs from an economic point of view. Both variants are finally compared and evaluated.
Hobby milling machine design
Valášek, Ondřej ; Zemčík, Oskar (referee) ; Dvořák, Jaromír (advisor)
At the introductory part, this thesis deals with description of individual parts of construction and control of CNC machine. Individual parts are described by vievpoint of principle of function, attributes and possibility of implementation on hobby machine. Furthermore is performed brief analysis of commercially manufactured CNC milling machines, which can be purchased on domestic and foreing markets for a purpose of milling wood and eventally aluminuum alloys. Main purpose of thesis is custom desing of CNC milling machine for non-commercial use. Three draft proposals are created first. Then one of them is developen into complete proposal. This design is then subjected to numerical simulation to pre-determine the machine's stiffness and ability to milling aluminium. The result of this simulation confirms the possible use of the machine for milling aluminium alloys. According to the simulation, the maximum deformation for possible machining of aluminium under predetermined conditions is 0.18 mm. In the last part of the work a price calculation was made, determining the approximate cost of the machine production at 75 000 CZK. The work includes a complete drawing documentation of the mechanical parts of the machine.
