Li-ion accumulators charger
Vrba, Marek ; Zatloukal, Miroslav (referee) ; Garcia, Juan Bautista Arroyo (advisor)
The main target of this thesis is to design and realize a prototype of a high capacity battery charger. The charger has been designed as a switching power supply based on a Flyback convertor with two transistors. As switching transistors the integrated circuit IR2110 has been selected. The convertor is controlled by a microcontroller board based on ATMega328 called Arduino Uno; some parts of the Arduino Uno Starter Kit are also used as LCD display, relay and button. In addition, an auxiliary source has been made; this one powers the integration circuit IR2110 and Arduino Uno board. Furthermore, this work introduces us to the processes of charging lithium batteries, types of lithium batteries and methods of charging the lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery.
Conducting polymers and their use in supercapacitors
Gottwald, Tomáš ; Zatloukal, Miroslav (referee) ; Dvořák, Petr (advisor)
This work deals with the issues of using conducting polymers for supercapacitor electrodes and optimizing the technological process for their production. The work focuses on optimizing the amount of polymer used in order to achieve the most capacity. The methodology consists of creating an appropriate experimental electrode and subsequent measuring its associated capacity with BioLogic. This approach leads to creating charts which show the dependencies of capacity on the amount of polymer used.
Surface Finishes of Copper in PCBś Production
Bedlek, Marek ; Zatloukal, Miroslav (referee) ; Starý, Jiří (advisor)
This work examines and compares properties of different types of surface finishes, their qualities and shortcomings and perspective for future use. Emphasis is placed on new product in the field of OSP, Glicoat F2 from SHIKOKU CHEMICALS CORPORATION and immersion tin. It evaluates their influence on solderability and its changes after several reflow cycles and isothermal aging.
Thin film systems
Rada, Vojtěch ; Sedlaříková, Marie (referee) ; Zatloukal, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is focused on the problematics of thin-film technology. In the beginning the work deals with a general theory of this problematics, discusses various methods and ways to lay a thin film, where more emphasis is placed on magnetron sputtering, which is used in the practical part of the work, and describes procedures that are performed before and after the application of the thin film. The magnetron sputtering coating machine NP-12 and its control are described in the practical part of the work. Subsequently the selection and adjustment of suitable substrates is made, the thin-film system is deposited using the magnetron sputtering method and the analysis of the properties of deposited thin-film samples is done.
Inspection and optimization of soldering profiles of reflow furnaces
Flos, Milan ; Zatloukal, Miroslav (referee) ; Bača, Petr (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the implementation of solutions for the control of temperature profiles in an industrial environment. The theoretical part deals with the soldering process itself, individual types of soldering and their possible defects. Furthermore, the problem of temperature profiles, their division and the advantages and disadvantages of individual profiles were discussed. Subsequently, the measurement was performed on several remelting furnaces and its evaluation. Lastly, the design of the holder for the profilometer and the PCB itself was created.
Bismuth Low Temperature Solder Pastes
Hájka, Jan ; Zatloukal, Miroslav (referee) ; Starý, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with low-temperature solder pastes with different bismuth content. It focuses on material, process and environmental influences that affect the reliability of the soldered joint. The practical part investigates the effect of isothermal aging and thermal cycling on the mechanical properties of solder joints formed by an eutectic tin-bismuth alloy. Furthermore, tin-bismuth solder pastes are compared to pastes with additives (TiO2 nanoparticles) and to SAC305 alloy. Technical adjustments are made to the measuring device in order to increase the accuracy of the measurement.
E-learning for Technological projecting and logistic
Klimek, Martin ; Zatloukal, Miroslav (referee) ; Špinka, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with computer aided design, production, and logistics. Further on it deals with types of companies, project management, problem solving in previously mentioned fields, methodology, and particular procedures of solving tasks of placement. Another objective of this particular bachelor’s thesis is to focus on the possibilities of multimedia instruction for subjects dealing with previously mentioned topics.
Implants for nervous system
Kuruc, Lukáš ; Zatloukal, Miroslav (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
This thesis deals with implants for nervous system. The first part of this thesis focuses on theoretical analysis of this issue, makes reader familiar with seriousness of spinal cord injury, its treatments options and regeneration with hydrogel implants. The second part describes experimental manufacturing of implants, testing patency and summary of their properties.
Biodegradable bones implants based on iron
Hrabovský, Jan ; Zatloukal, Miroslav (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
This work deals with a current topic, which are biodegradable bone implants. These implants seem to be a suitable candidate for temporary fixations, with their gradual decomposition. An important parameter is not only the mechanical properties so that the material can withstand the load, but above all the corrosion properties and the degradation process. This work introduces the physiology of bone, trace elements and also describes current trends in the field of implants. The last part is a theoretical introduction to cross-stage processes. The practical part is focused on the preparation of iron-based samples with various dopants, subsequent annealing and analysis.
Bismuth Low Temperature Solder Pastes
Vogel, Vojtěch ; Zatloukal, Miroslav (referee) ; Starý, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with low-temperature soldering pastes with different bismuth content. It focuses on material, process and environmental influences that affect the reliability of the soldered joint. The effect of the elements on the eutectic solder alloy Sn-Bi58 is also described here. For the practical part two surface finishes (ENIG and immersion tin) and four solder pastes (PF743-PQ10, PF735-PQ10, PF734-PQ10, SAC305) are chosen. Tested PCBs are subjected to isothermal aging and cyclic temperature tests. Electrical resistance has changed during thermal aging.
