Design of the heating system for an office building

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design the heating and hot water supply system for an administrative building in the town Pelhřimov. The building consists of four above-ground floors and one underground floor, which is not heated. The heating is provided by panel radiators, pipe radiators, and underfloor convectors. The heat source consists of a cascade of two gas boilers. The hot water preparation is ensured by an indirect storage water heater. The system operates as a two-pipe system with forced water circulation. The pipes are made of insulated copper.
Design of heating system of apartment building

The bachelor's thesis deals with the design of the heating of apartment building. The work is divided into a theoretical and calculation part and a project. Refrigerants used in heat pumps, their distribution and basic properties are described in the theoretical part. This section also discusses the impact of refrigerants on the environment. In the calculation part, heat losses of the entire building are determined by punctual calculation. The building's heating system is then designed based on the calculated heat output, including pipe sizing, system equipment design, annual heat requirement and heat source design. A cascade of three air-to-water heat pumps is considered here as a heat source. The building is heated by plate and tube heaters. The project part includes the drawing documentation of the project and the technical report.
Heating of the pension

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to solve the heating of the pension. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part, a calculation part and a design part. In the theoretical part the thesis focuses on pellet boilers. The calculation part contains the design of heating and hot water preparation. A pellet boiler is chosen as the source. Plate and pipe heating elements and convectors are designed in the building. Solar collectors are also designed for hot water heating. The project part includes a technical report and drawings.
Building Energy Performance Certificate

The bachelor's thesis deals with building energy performance certificate of the Vítkov apartment building. The theoretical part is focused on thermal insulation systems and insulation materials. The calculation part carries about an analysis of the energy needs and flows of the building together with the energy evaluation of apartment building. This part continues with the design of five revitalisation arrangements, which are assessed according to energy, economic and environmental assessments. The project part contains six energy performance certificates of assessed building.
Design of a heating system for the kindergarten and elementary school building

The goal of the bachelor´s thesis is to design heating and hot water heating for kindergarden and elementary school which is located in Vsetín. The building has two above ground floor and no underground floor. Heating is designed for the entire building. Distribution of heat to the space is provided by radiators. The piping system is designed from copper. As heat sources are designed 3 gas condensing boilers. Ventilation in the building is forced by an air-conditioning unit with heater and with heat recovery. Hot water is heated by a tank heater.
Design of a heating system for a multifunctional house

The bachelor thesis is divided into the theoretical, computational and project part. In the theoretical part, I deal with the design and description of the ground - water heat pump for the object. In the computational part, I deal with the design of the heating system and a hot water preparation in the building of the multifunctional house Rezidence Chelčická in České Budějovice. The building has four floors. On the first floor there is a commercial premises with garages and on the remaining floors there are residential units. The building is designed with a water-ground heat pump, indirect heating tank for hot water preparation and heating of the building is provided by floor convectors, plate and pipe units. The last part of the project includes a technical report and drawings for the specified object.
Environmentally Advanced Library

The main aim of the Master‘s project is to design a library and a cafe in Příbram. The project is divided into three parts. The first part deals with architectural and structural design. The second with technical building services and the third with thermal imaging. The building has a basement and two above-ground floors. The building is founded on foundation strips. The building is designed with load-bearing brick walls and pre-stressed slabs Spiroll. The roof is a flat intensive green roof. The building envelope is insulated with mineral wool. In the building there is air a conditioning and a cooling system. As a heat source, a pressure-independent heat exchanger unit connected to the local hot water pipe will be used. A part of the electricity consumption is covered by photovoltaics. In the third part there are images from a thermal camera for some libraries. Imagines were evaluated if there are thermal bridges in the measured libraries. The project was carried out in the AutoCAD programme.
Energy-saving building of kindergarten Lískáček

The aim of my diploma project is to design a nearly-zero energy kindergarten. Building is located in Brno – Starý Lískovec. It´s a single-storey, detached building. It has 2 classes with bathrooms and locker rooms for 40 childrens . Other rooms are: headmaster´s office, kitchen, staff facilities and technical room. Load-bearing walls are made from masonry and non-load-bearing walls are from adobe blocks. Floor slab is made from reinforced concrete. There is a flat green roof with photovoltaic panels. The building is heated by heat pump and uses mechanical ventilation with heat recovery. As a third part of my project, I´m comparing three diferent heat sources. The criteria according to which the resources were assessed are the score from the energy performance of building certificate, the amount of emissions and the spatial complexity of the technologies.
Design of heating system of office building

This master’s thesis deals with the design of the heating system and hot water heating for the office building of the office of the Brno-Líšeň Municipality. It is divided into three parts. The first theoretical part deals with a brief division and analysis of heat sources for buildings from economic side. The second calculation part deals with the design of the heating system in 2 variants. These consist of the design and calculations of heat losses, dimensioning of the heating system, preparation of hot water, design of the heat source and other components. In the first variant, the design of central heating is solved using the most commonly used panel heating elements. In the second variant, the design is solved using design tube radiators. The last part of the diploma thesis is devoted to the design and analysis of heat sources for heating, using the Energetika software. Their comparison from an economic point of view as well as from an ecological point of view.
