Utilization and economic costs of computer-generated imaginary in advertising

The thesis aims to answer the question of when and why is Computer-generated imaginary (CGI) used in advertising and marketing. The work attempts to locate and identify the specifics that came along using CGI tools, including requirements for IT infrastructure and workflow. The theoretical part describes the research "CGI commercials during Super Bowl broadcasting" to confirm or refute the postulate that the popularity of CGI in advertisement is growing. The practical part shows the process of creating static advertising visuals and animation using CGI tools and compares it in terms of technical and economic costs with similar audiovisual output achieved by conventional tools, such as the works of photographer in the studio. Finally the thesis evaluates the results of comparison.
Actual trends in pre-production of multimedia

This bachelor thesis deals with key preparatory phase of production chain -- by pre-production and its diversity in individual areas of multimedia. The theoretical part contains description of multimedia work production chain in depth description of pre-production phase and description of the most frequent used instruments, which make pre-production easier. For the final part there is evaluation of instruments usage by specific multimedia areas. In the practical part is descripted production chain of student film Connection, the pre-production is processed in detail with all instruments used.
Creative development of board and card games

This thesis addresses the issue of development and production of card and board games. The introduction describes basic terms related to games and game design. It also explains the specifics regarding card and board games. Also included is the analysis of medium specifics and its differences from other media. Then follows categorization of board and card games using specific examples. Next, the work focuses on the process of game developlemt and in detail deals with the role of game design. Described are basic principles applied in game design and its integration with other neccessary development steps in order to publish the final product. In the next part, game design is analysed regarding its content and the decicions, that game designer has to deal with in relation to the target group of the game. Specific approaches to game design are described at the end of this section. The following section deals with the issue of creating the game interface. Specifically the particular components that games usually contain and the suitability of materials they are made of, regarding time and financial restrains. Thesis is concluded with edscription of application of previously described theory on a project called "Za sedmero horami", which is a card game created to support children creativity.
Production of featurette internet show

Thesis deals with the production chain of internet show. It specifically analyzes production of featurette internet show. In theoretical part defines the concept of a production chain and internet show and then the chain is described in detail to individual parts. Thesis also focuses on differences in television and internet show and also describes social networks, specifically Facebook and Youtube and their options for publishing content and their analytics. The analytical part deals with analysis of the reference television and internet shows of which originated practical part of the bachelor project. The practical part includes a detailed description of the production chain of featurette internet show Kapustové zelí, assessment of the factors of show success and business potential.
Use of musical and non-musical sound elements of an audiovisual work in order to attain specific emotion in the audience

In this thesis, the relation between the acoustic component of an audiovisual work and human perception is examined. It discusses the issues of auditive impulses and their impact on one's mental process. The practical part of the thesis applies to a process of a concept design of sound addition and sound dramaturgy for a specific audiovisual work, considering the intended messages to the viewer, both informative and emotional.
Information and communication channels that are used by students of University of Economics

This written work is about the information and communication channels that are used by students of University of Economics. The word "channels" can be replaced by the word "sources". Primary goal is to identify important information and communication sources and then describe them, evaluate them and find their deficiencies. Secondary goal is to examine the sources that are designed for students of the first year, for example the day of the open doors or the familiarization tour. Work is divided into two parts according to type of the sources. The aim of work is to find a solution to deal with the revealed shortcomings and introduce recommendation how to repair overall conception of giving the information to the first year students and how to repair channels that are used by all the students. For evaluation of the channel there was made a questionnaire which was send to the students of University of Economics.
Process analysis of selling electronic magazines online

This work is focused on business process modeling and subsequent use in, how it works selling electronic magazines online. In the theoretical section describes possible options for modeling languages, then selected BPM notation and described in detail. The second section describes the technologies used to support sales of electronic magazines. In this work an example is Skimagazin magazine. In the final phase of work are given individual detailed models of how the sale works in practice. The models are mainly focused on describing how to communicate with each individual system elements and users or administrators. Due to the large degree of detail models are listed here only the main models for the functioning of online sales. At the end structure of data objects is described.
Process analysis of a subsidy program

This Master's thesis is concerned with the process analysis of a subsidy program of a governmental institution. The main objective of this dissertation is to describe and analyze the process of a program cycle as a whole as well as its individual sub-processes. The study also elaborates on the information system (IS) utilized, in the context of subsidy management, by relevant governmental institutions. Finally, hierarchies of these IS will be illustrated and future prospects for their integration will be pondered. The dissertation's main contribution to knowledge is the final assessment of the whole process along with a proposal for its enhancement. The study is divided into a theoretical and empirical part. In the theoretical part, while procedural issue is analyzed in the first part, the subsequent section focuses on the phenomenon of subsidies itself, their common attributes and in what ways do the subsidies discussed in this study differ from other subsidies. The subsidy program is described, in line with the approved documentation, and the official objectives defined. The subsidy program under consideration is administered by the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic and, therefore, the dissertation includes a schematic diagram depicting the organizational structure of this governmental institution as well as the relevant Department of Budget in order to provide a better understanding of the complex processes involved. The empirical part then analyzes a particular subsidy program and its sub-programs. Finally, the dissertation assesses the whole process and proposes possible ways for its enhancement.
Multimedia communication

Multimedia communication arises as a theoretical issue according to the constant and fast progress in information and communication technology evolution. In relation to the process of digitalization, there are made a new instruments and possibilities of communication that integrate a lot of new and also standard approaches. Focus of the public and both the producers is directing mainly to the technologies and tools. Theoretical framework that predicts the impacts and advices effective using in society context retreated into the background of interest. It is going to start massive expansion of technological instruments without the general know-how of parameters of its using and without the importance in whole society contact. Literacy in this way is a key to effective information design which allows us to communicate the message we want to in the way we want to. This document deals with issue of analysis actual state and synthesis of the basics that are important for the development of theoretical base. Main goal of this base it to support effective production of multimedia content thru identifying elementary principles that affects the transfer of message by multimedia. In the process of multimedia communication is happening that the initiator is separated from the message and has no possibility to manipulate with it during the process. So it is very necessary to act consciously and qualified during the formulations and coding to media to avoid bad reinterpretations and so that message will be resistant to the disruptive effects.
Communication channels, the part of the system base of gastronomic companies

Goal of this document is to compile the basic theory of communication processes (exchange of information) of the company from the specific branch of the market. Make an analysis of these processes in real companies in order to make more suitable theory for evaluation characteristics of communication and vicariously informatics in the branch. Within the analysis, next goal is to point out the possibilities of information and communication technology support for the processes and find out the way how to implement them into company workflow. The problem analyzed in this document is, how to practise internal and external exchange of information to reach the planned business goal in branch effectively. This document describes the situation in gastronomy. System basics of the companies from this branch depend very much on the communication. Quality of information exchange including the level of informatics support affects their status on the market, which is equal to the fruitfulness.
