Comparison of admission tests of HZS from Teplice with ordinary population

Title: Comparison of physical admission test for the Fire Brigade of the Czech Republic with ordinary population. Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to compare results of firefighters with ordinary population of admission test for the Fire Brigade of the Czech Republic. Methods: . In this thesis, comparison of physical fitness and performance is done for 15 random selected volunteers from ordinary population and 15 members of HZS ČR Ústeckého kraje, územního odboru Teplice. Mann-Whitney U test was chosen to verify stated hypothesis. Mann- Whitney U test is a non-parametric test that compares two chosen data sets. The hypothesis states that the results of firefighters with ordinary population of admission test for the Fire Brigade of the Czech Republic are nearly the same. Results: Mann-Whitney U test was applied to determine if the stated hypothesis holds true. The statistical method was done for 3 physical tests required in admission exam to HZS ČR. The hypothesis was declined only for test 1 (push-ups). In other cases (test 2 - sit-ups , test 3 - 200 m swimming), the hypothesis was confirmed. Terrorism in the 21st Century - Active Shooter

Title: Terrorism at 21. century-active shooter Objectives: The aim of this work is to analyze terrorism in the 21st century, to describe this phenomenon focusing on active shooter and to find measures taken against shooters at Czech elementary schools. Methods: The theoretical part of the diploma thesis was prepared with the help of a descriptive analytical method, searches of available Czech literature, foreign sources and valid legislative sources. In the practical part, a questionnaire was conducted on the theme of active shooter. The results were statistically processed and then interpreted. Title: Development and current status of special unit of the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Fire Brigade. Objective: The aim of this work is to get a detailed overview of the development and the current functioning of the Rescue Service of the Czech Fire Brigade. Another aim is to analyze the individual rescue units of the Rescue Service of the Czech Fire Brigade with a focus on their professional training, specialization courses, organizational structure, firefighting machinery, tasks and activities including rescue and liquidation services in the events of major emergencies from 2009 to the present. Methods: The theoretical part will be drawn up on the basis of a study of printed and electronic sources related to the topic. It will be focused on the history and development of the Rescue Service of the Czech Fire Brigade, organizational structure, tasks, focus and actions, education system and firefighting machinery to the extent that will provide support for the practical part of the work. The practical part will deal with the analysis of selected rescue teams and the specialized team of the Rescue Service of the Czech Fire Brigade. Title: Analysis of activities of the Mountain Rescue Service in selected mountains in the Czech Republic. Objectives: The objective of this thesis is to analyse the activities of areas of the Mountain Rescue Service and then compare the collected information. Another objective is to create a comprehensive overview of the history, activities and areas of the Mountain Rescue Service, and its cooperation with other rescue services. Methods: The methods used in this thesis are content analysis and data collection from available sources. Furthermore, methods of qualitative research, mainly a semistructured interview with chiefs of the Mountain Rescue Service of the Czech Republic. The data obtained are presented through a transcript of interviews and descriptive statistics of interviewed and Mountain Rescue Service statistics. These statistics are processed into tables and graphs that are described, compared and evaluated. Results: The result of this diploma thesis is an overview of the Mountain Rescue Service, its activities, its activities and its powers. Moreover, another result is an analysis of activities in selected areas where the Mountain Rescue Service operates on the basis of interviews with Mountain Rescue Service chiefs. Title Differences in admission procedures in selected IZS components. Objectives The aim of this work is to describe the admission procedures of selected IZS components, such as the Fire Brigade of the Czech Republic, the Police of the Czech Republic, the Customs Administration of the Czech Republic and the Prison Service of the Czech Republic. These components are at the same time so-called "security corpses". After describing the admission procedures, they are then compared. Methods The method used in the creation of this final thesis is an analysis of the widest range of literature dealing with the issue. At the end make informations easier to understand and compare them. Results An overview of differences in admission procedures in the above-mentioned components.
