Primary school teacher's perspective on inclusive education

This diploma thesis focuses on inclusive education and its close aspects, especially the perspective of elementary school teachers. The thesis itself is divided into several chapters. These explain the theoretical framework of inclusion in special pedagogy and associated topics, for example, a shift in a perception of a person with disabilities in individual periods, basic possible approaches to children's education, ie terms of exclusion, segregation, integration, and lastly, inclusion itself. They explain their definitions or principles. School legislation in the Czech Republic is also part of the thesis. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical part and practical part. The theoretical part focuses on the topics mentioned above and deals with the concepts related to education and special education in general, such as school as social institutions and individual social and professional roles in it, the concept of socialization or international trends in special pedagogy. The practical part contains qualitative research, ie structured interviews with specific pedagogical staff and outputs from these interviews. Parental considerations and decision-making in the area of postponement of school attendance

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of postponement of school attendance from the perspective of parents. The thesis is divided into three parts - theoretical, methodological and analytical. The theoretical part defines the kindergarten as the first facility that the child and his parents meet. It shows additional activities - speech therapy care, stimulation program, psychological and pedagogical diagnostics. It defines terms such as school readiness, school maturity and delay in school attendance. The last chapter frames the kindergarten from the point of view of the overall system of education in the Czech Republic. In the methodological part, the goal of the research, the research questions are presented. How the data will be interpreted. To obtain them, a semi-structured interview was used with eight parents who either decided to delay school attendance or their child properly entered the first grade. The data is then interpreted in the analytical part. The data is divided into two groups and then compared. Anne Sexton and her transformations of fairy tales

This thesis deals with the life and work of the American poet Anne Sexton. The focus is mainly on her collection Transformations, which comprises poems that retell fairy tales originally collected by the German brothers Grimm. The first part of the thesis deals with the theoretical approaches of psychobiography and the psychology of art literature, which are employed in the analysis. The theoretical section of the work also includes a biography of Anne Sexton and a brief overview of her life's work, with a specific focus on the Transformations collection. A dedicated chapter is also devoted to the exploration of confessional poetry, as the literary genre to which Anne Sexton's work belongs. The practical part of the work consists of an analysis and interpretation of selected poems from the Transformations collection, namely the poems The Golden Key and Briar Rose. The thesis further deals with Anne Sexton's relationship with her father, and the final chapter reflects on the feminist aspects within the poet's work.

Children with challenging behaviour as a source of burden for primary school teachers

The thesis deals with the challenging behaviour of children from the perspective of first grade primary school teachers who perceive this behaviour as a significant source of professional stress. The aim of the thesis is to map which forms of children' behaviour are identified by teachers as the most burdensome, what they experience in relation to exposure to challenging behaviour and what teachers lack in order to manage the professional burden better. The theoretical section provides background information on the emotions and stress experienced by teachers. The next part is devoted to the concept of challenging behaviour of children, its forms and manifestations. Finally, the area of social support for teachers is discussed and the importance of mental hygiene is mentioned. The aim of the practical part is to trace, through a qualitative investigation by analysing semi- structured interviews, which children' behaviour is identified as challenging by the first-grade teachers at the selected school, what they experience in connection with exposure to this behaviour, what support they receive from the school management and the school counselling centre, or what additional support they would welcome and what they themselves do to be able to carry out their work with less professional burden. School counselling centres' support of LGBTQ students

The rigorous thesis deals with the topic of supportingLGBTQ students. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the topic of identityin adolescence and the specific challenges faced by LGBTQ adolescents in this period. It also introduces research that deals with LGBTQ topics and the experiences of LGBTQ adolescents in the school environment and the different forms of support that schools can provide to LGBTQ students, includingthe presence of supportive adults. School counselors can play an important role as "advocates" for LGBTQ students. However, there is very little researchthat deals with this specific topic. The research in this work is dedicatedto mapping the situationregarding the cooperation of LGBTQ students and school counseling centres. The researchquestions focus on what experiences school counselors have with LGBTQ issues and students, how they perceive their role in supporting these students,and where they see room for change in this area. Balancing openness in parents' communication with young children

The thesis aims to explore a phenomenon observed among some contemporary parents: openness in communication with their young children is an important value for them, but on several topics they hesitate whether it is also appropriate in this case or modify it in some way. Based on a qualitative approach using semi-structured interviews with parents of preschool children, the work provides a concrete description of how parents balance their openness in communication about sex, Baby Jesus, death and war, relationships and emotions, as well as in parenting. Subsequently, it presents the common patterns of this balancing across communication topics, describes the motivations, boundaries and barriers to parents' openness in communication, and shows the role of the parent's experience and factors on the child's side. It also describes interpersonal balancing with partners, grandparents and in the context of society. Just take a moment to stop. The process of religious conversion in the context of the covid-19 pandemic: an interpretative phenomenological analysis.

The focus of the thesis is to examine the process of religious conversion to the Roman Cath- olic Church in the context of the covid-19 pandemic. Its main aim is to describe the experi- ence of individuals with religious conversion and the way in which this experience is re- flected in the context of the covid-19 pandemic. Another partial aim is to map the functions of religion from the perspective of the convert and to put these functions in the context of theories of religious coping (how it manifests itself, whether and to what extent is the concept of religious coping strategies appropriate, as regards religious conversion in the context of the covid-19 pandemic). The thesis adopts a qualitative form of psychologic research in which the methods of interpretative phenomenological analysis are applied. The data were collected by means of semi-structured interviews from five converts to the Roman Catholic Church. The result of the analysis is represented by four central topics in which the quality of the experience of religious conversion is described: space of transformation, parallel for life, liberation, and relationship. The heart of experience thus outlined is then related to the functions of religion and theoretical psychological concepts.
