Utilization of chronopotentiometric titration in humic research
Viktorinová, Jana ; Pospíšilová, Ľubica (referee) ; Klučáková, Martina (advisor)
Humic acids are natural substances belonging to the group of humic substances. They arise mainly decomposition of plant residues. They are contained in soils, peat, sediments, young coal, water and even in the air. Humic acids are only partially soluble in water with increasing pH increases their solubility. Diploma thesis focuses on the use of chronopotentiometric titration of humic research. This method is mainly used for the determination of trace concentrations of analytes. This work is focused on the determination of acidity by potentiometric titration and the determination of dissociation constants using chronopotentiometry with measurement of pH of prepared samples.
Determination of content of humic acids in solutions chronopotentiometrically
Viktorinová, Jana ; Kislinger, Jiří (referee) ; Klučáková, Martina (advisor)
Humic acids are part of humic substances, which are substances of natural origin occurring in soil, peats, sediments and young coal. These substances are mixture of compounds with different molecular weight and structures. Humic acids are only partially soluble in aqueous solutions and their solubility is growing up with icreasing pH value. Bachelor thesis uses method of chronopotentiometric titration, which has not been used yet for humic research. This bachelor thesis is trying to check possibility of exercise this method for assessment concentration of soluble humic acid. Especially trace amounts of analyt are measured by this method. Results obtained by chronopotentiometric titration are compared with results in common used method as UV/VIS spetctromerty and potentiometry.
Metamorphoses of Prague periphery. The former slum Na Slatinách
Viktorínová, Jana ; Pargač, Jan (advisor) ; Tomandl, Miloš (referee)
This monographical study is dedicated to the largest of the former Prague slums, to the slum Na Slatinách (Slatiny), the area of provisional housing of social excluded poor. It describes the time and circumstances of its formation in the middle 20s. It examines the creation of local community as well as its changes under the influences of political and economic forces during the second half of the 20th century. The study is further focused on interception of contemporary unsatisfactory condition of locality, on description of strong diversity of physical and social environment which is reflected in specific modified social relations and structure.
