Optimizing Assembly Processes
Šmíd, Michal ; Záruba, Radim (referee) ; Videcká, Zdeňka (advisor)
My bachelor thesis is focused on the principles of lean manufacturing for optimization of assembly processes in a company that makes compressors. The solution I present is based on the analysis of the processes in the company. It mainly considers the elimination of the losses resulting from the setting of the C-items safety stock. My proposal contains methodology designed to discover wrongly set safety stock.
Design of an Information System Implementation in the Shared Service Centre
Kitzing, Erik ; Hurda, Jiří (referee) ; Videcká, Zdeňka (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with the design of implementation of a new information system to the company Dixons Retail SSC, s.r.o.. Firstly an analysis of the current state of the process of credit note handling is made. This process is a supportive process for the whole AP cycle process of the company. The analysis focuses mainly on the description of systems used for credit note handling and the links between them. The design of implementation is focused on the module Invoice Cockpit and its main functions. Afterwards a recommendation of the procedure of conversing data from old systems to new is made and new dialog windows are designed. In the conclusion recommendations of processes, which should follow up a successful implementation of information system are made.
Design of the Production Planning and Control System
Staněk, Michal ; Vondálová, Anna (referee) ; Videcká, Zdeňka (advisor)
Modernizing of current information systems. Implementation of simpler and more practical systems for all processes of production control. Achievement of better comunication of staffs.
Implementation of Production Preparation Automation using Advanced Technologies
Slechan, Martin ; Novotný, Rostislav (referee) ; Videcká, Zdeňka (advisor)
The diploma thesis dealt with proposals to optimize the work with two programs by introducing a data bridge and proposals to increase automation and digitalization based on technological trends. The theoretical definition of the problem is followed by an analysis of the current state of the art. This is followed by the actual design part, where lists of possible options, various comparisons, impacts on the company after implementation and possible advantages or disadvantages were discussed. Subsequently, it was evaluated which option is the most optimal, how much it will cost, what it can save and from the selected options, recommendations or rejection of optimization proposals were made.
Optimization of the Coil Forming Workplace
Machačová, Simona ; Janírek, Martin Stanislav (referee) ; Videcká, Zdeňka (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the analysis of the production process and its optimization. Improvement is achieved thanks to a predictive simulation. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the concepts associated with the process management of the company and measurement of work. Furthermore, the theoretical part focuses on the improvement of business processes within the process of digitalization and methodology of simulation projects associated with the creation of a predictive digital twin. The analytical part contains an introduction of the manufacturing company and a global analysis of processes. Then, with the help of several techniques, the production process which will be optimized is analyzed. The design part of the thesis describes the current simulation models and the proposed form of the process. Individual options are evaluated, and the benefits of the proposed solution are stated.
Optimizing the Manufacturing Process in a Company
Vrána, Jakub ; Novák, Viktor (referee) ; Videcká, Zdeňka (advisor)
This thesis deals with the management of the production process, focusing on unproductive activities. It comprises analysis of the current situation in the company Teva Czech Industries s.r.o. (the TCI) and suggestions for improvement measures. The first chapter presents theoretical basis for processing work. PMT methods, namely MTM and MOST, lean production with a focus on 5S, TPM and Kaizen are described. The second chapter is focused on the company TCI, core business, organization structure and analyzes the current status. It’s focused primarily on the process of critical non-manufacturing operations and the changeover cleaning process. The third chapter, following the analytical part consists of the proposed recommendations. The fourth chapter deals with the final evaluation.
Process Optimization Project for Power Plant Overhauls
Melicheríková, Pavla ; Smýkal, Filip (referee) ; Videcká, Zdeňka (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis includes proposal for thermal power plant’s optimization of complex overhauls’ project’s processes’ making in a medium company, that deals with an engineering working and an intervention of production in the fields of surface mining and heavy engineering especially. Solution appears from processes analysis at company. Optimization will serve to make the whole process more efficient and to bring down costs.
Proposal of the Manufacturing Resource Planning System Implementation
Rzepka, Jakub ; Orlík, Antotnín (referee) ; Videcká, Zdeňka (advisor)
Master thesis inquires into proposal of the manufacturing resource planning system implementation into a small manufacturing company. Proposal is based on the information strategy of current processes status analysis and actual software & hardware equipment. Solution also contains the selection of information system implementation supplier and evaluate benefits of proposed information system implementation.
Development of Door Assembly Process Support in the Information System
Dobiáš, Bohdan ; Nisler, Jan (referee) ; Videcká, Zdeňka (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the design of support for the process of door assembly in the information system in a selected company. The solution is based on mapping the current state of process management, their support and application of the company's information system requirements.
Proposal for RC Models Production
Zeman, Ondřej ; Rompotl, Jaroslav (referee) ; Videcká, Zdeňka (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the production design for conversion from a basic model to a radio-controlled model. After the introduction, the second part of this thesis is made of a theoretical analysis of concepts related to planning and analysis of production. The following chapter is devoted to the current state of production, prototypes, available production equipment, and brief market analysis. The fourth chapter is about the production design for 3 model variants, mainly focused on the rate of workspace usages, place requirements, number of employees, material consumption, and is ended with a calculation of production costs. In the last chapter is designed production process evaluated for two cases.
