Design of a belt grinder for robotic grinding
Šimara, Vít ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on stationary robotic belt grinder. The grinder is designed to be tiltable in multiple axes, to guarantee its versatility. The theoretical part describes the belt grinder’s working principle and the fundamentals of robotic grinding. In addition, current trends in this branch are described. At the beginning of the practical part, the concept of the grinder is configured, part by part. This configuration is based on the theoretical research and the choice of the best option. The mechanical design follows, supported by calculations, indispensable to ensure the right functionality of the machine. This thesis’s outlet is a 3D model of the mechanical construction of the grinder with a partial drawing and technical documentation.

Digital commissioning of robotized workplace for cold spraying of rotating parts
Šimůnek, Petr ; Bražina, Jakub (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
This work deals with the virtual and later real commissioning of the workplace for cold spraying of rotating parts, which is located in the laboratories of the Institute of Materials Science and Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Brno University of Technology. The workplace put into operation in this way serves the employees of the mentioned institute for experimental activities in the field of cold spraying. The theoretical part of the thesis describes all the essentials associated with virtual commissioning and the theory of cold spray. The practical part then deals with the creation of a robotic program, including the user interface, which is used to control the workplace. Part of this diploma thesis is also the realization of the connection between the external motor driver and the robot controller via the PROFINET communication bus.

Digital commissioning of the pallet stacker
Karn, Pavel ; Bražina, Jakub (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the virtual commissioning of the pallet stacker. For this work LUX spol. s r.o. has provided a 3D model of this single-purpose machine. The theoretical part of the thesis revolves around the description of the virtual commissioning issue. The practical part of the thesis first describes entire work cycle, and then designs and evaluates two variants of the control systém. The selected variant was then put into virtual commissioning in the ABB Robotstudio software.

Development of the testing device for length measurement
Kirchner, Jan ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Andrš, Ondřej (advisor)
Aim of this thesis is a verification of possibility to measure displacement in small range using sensor based on the principle of strain gauge. For testing purspose, an evaluating unit was designed, made and assembled. This unit contains analog/digital converter, LCD and it has an abbility to move measuring plane using stepper motor. Next part of this thesis is about testing new prototype of strain gauge sensor, including evaluation of results of measuring. The performed measurements were measuring linearity, time stability and repeatability. Based on the results of the measurements, the possibility of using this type of length measuring device was confirmed for further development.

Measurement using Ballbar axis CNC machines
Školoud, Martin ; Holub, Michal (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with measuring of circular interpolation a measuring devices, which uses this principle. The ballbar measurement is performed and the measurement is listed here. The therotical part deals with errors themselves, which are divided by influencing factors. The following part describes the selected measuring instruments, which uses circular interpolation to measure accuracy and error detection. Practical part of the thesis deals with machine-tool testing and evaluation of measured values in individual planes. At the same time, compensation is proposed to increase machine accuracy.
