Motivation for scout education and and its impact on the lives of adult leaders

This thesis focuses on scout education and its benefits for adult scout leaders. In the theoretical part, the theoretical basis is first mentioned, focusing on the concept of lifelong learning, the inclusion of scout education in this concept and the motivation for adult education. Next, the characteristics and the history of world and czech scouting are described, followed by the principles of scouting, age categories and the scout educational method, which introduce the way of educational work in czech scout. Subsequently, the theoretical part mentions the Junák - český skaut organization, the education that is implemented within this organization and is essential for the research part of this thesis. The main aim of the research part is to identify the impact of educational courses on the life of a scout leader and to describe how educational courses are handled in different scout teams. The topic of the diploma thesis is the management of further education of academic staff at a selected faculty, a part of a university-type university. The aim of the work is to analyze and describe the management system of continuing education of academic staff and to propose improvements in this area. The diploma thesis deals with the teachers educational needs of vocational subjects at secondary agricultural schools in the field of continuing professional education. The main goal of the work is to identify, characterize and evaluate these educational needs. The theoretical part of the final thesis is devoted to teachers in the world of education, introduces the further of pedagogical staff and describes the specifics of adult education. Analysis of social competencies of primary school teachers The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of social competences among primary school teachers. The aim of the work is to compare the social competences of a selected group of respondents. The theoretical part is devoted to the topic of social competences in relation to the teaching profession, focusing on the general characteristics of the issue of social competences. Next the very meaning and role of social competences. The thesis deals with new possibilities and approaches in the field of education and resocialization of individuals in prison. The process of treatment of prisoners in the prison system is carried out by systematic and professional methods of treatment. At present, according to the current strategic document, the Concept of the Prison System until 2025, the main focus is on education and employment of persons in prison. The issue of resocialisation and further education of convicts is developed within the framework of social andragogy. The theoretical part will analyse the possibilities of using andragogical, social and social andragogical counselling in imprisonment. The sub-objective of the thesis is to characterize the individual stages of the counselling process and to define its contribution to the reintegration of convicts. Another professional education and development of employees of the municipal police

The thesis focuses on the identification of the training needs of municipal police employees and defines possible areas of further professional development. The theoretical part focuses on the characteristics of the objectives and mission of the municipal police, its specifics in terms of development and further professional education of employees. Part of the theoretical framework has been developed the issues of lifelong education and learning, motivation for professional development and the possibilities of further professional education of employees or officers. In the empirical part, the educational needs of employees - constables assigned to municipal / city police forces were examined, i.e. analysed and identified, and based on the results, areas of further professional education and development of employees were defined. Emphasis was placed on current societal issues that affect the work of constables. The importance and possibilities of career guidance

The aim of this diploma thesis entitled "The importance and possibilities of career guidance" was to find out and describe the position of a career adviser and the possibilities and barriers of career guidance. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts, namely: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is focused on three main thematic units. In the first chapter, the concept of career guidance is defined, target groups, forms, diagnosis, limits, possibilities and barriers of career guidance are listed. The second chapter is devoted to a career adviser, code of ethics, competences, specializations, work activities and psychohygiene for career advisers. The third chapter is focused on education of career advisers and their further education. The methodology of the research investigation is described in the practical part. Idea of Self-Directed Learning from the Andragogical View

Diploma thesis focuses on the idea of self-directed learning from the perspective of andragogy. The main goal of this work is to characterize and describe self-directed learning among students at a selected pedagogical fakulty. The sececondary goal is to compare the process of self-directed learning from the perspective of students in the full-time and combined forms of study at the selected pedagogical fakulty. The work is divided into theoretical and empirical parts. The theorical part initially deals with the importance of lifelong learning and education, followed by an andragogical backgroud, whitch summarizes the basic andragogical concepts, the historical aspect of andragogy and didactics of adult education. An important subchapter of the teoretical part is Knowles' theory of adult education. The last and key chapter of the theoretical part deals with the historical and philosophical aspect of self- directed learning, defines the concept of self-directed learning, and outlines its challenges.
