Technical analysis in the Intraday Trading

The aim of this work is to create "Intraday concept", that could be used as a manual for amateur intraday traders to achieve systematic approach in the intraday trading. First part of this work defines general rules for intraday trading. Second part chooses technical indicatiors for intraday use. In the last part of this work are presented automatic trading systems and "Intraday koncept" is created on the basis of data gained in previous chapters.

Investment banking of the 21st century

The main aim of this thesis is to give comprehensive and overall look on investment banking from it's origin till present in the United States of America and the Czech Republic. During the characterization of historical development of investment banking is coming out especially from acts, which affected or still affecting this area. The main attention is put to present situation, which is involved by financial crisis. There are mentioned the reasons of it's birth, process, the reactions of govermnent and central banks and possibilities of it's future progression. All this is completed by basic definitions, which describe the area of investment banking.

Technical analysis of selected investment instrument

The principal aim of this graduation thesis is to characterize technical analysis including its application to chosen investment instrument. The begining of the thesis consists of the main investment approaches in the capital markets and their comparison with technical analysis. Afterwards, the definition and targets of technical analysis are given. Further, the work focuses on the Dow Theory as the main basis of the contemporary technical analysis and mentions other approaches in technical analysis. Then, the instruments of technical analysis are introduced. Graphical methods are only outlined whereas technical indicators are the focus of attention. There is the selection of twelve of them including their construction and usage. Finally, the application of chosen technical indicators belonging to chosen financial instrument is given and achieved results are commented.

Comparison of Prague Stock Exchange and Ljubljana Stock Exchange

Capital markets are an important part of every free market economy. After the transformation from a centrally planned economy to a free market economy, capital markets were founded and re-established in many central and eastern European countries. The Czech Republic and Slovenia belong among those countries. The main aim of this thesis is to characterize and compare the Prague Stock Exchange and Ljubljana Stock Exchange in various terms. Those terms include the history of both exchanges, the organization, principles and conditions of membership, ways of trading, market segmentation, exchange indices and other statistics.

Fundamental analysis of Erste Bank shares listed on the Prague Stock Exchange

This bachelor thesis is an attempt by the methods of fundamental analysis to evaluate all the relevant factors that are relevant in the process of evaluation shares. The aim of this work is to prepare investment recommendations on the shares of Erste Bank. The first chapter is the theoretical background of all the analytical methods used in the stock market. In particular, technical analysis, efficient markets theory, psychological analysis and fundamental analysis. The second chapter is devoted to the global analysis. Global analysis is supplemented by regression analysis of each of evaluated factors. Another chapter deals with the sectoral analysis as insight into the banking sector in the Czech Republic, partly in Central Europe. The fourth chapter contains its own internal calculation of value shares, compared with the current rate of investment and the resulting recommendations.

Comparison of chosen index and equity funds

The bachelor thesis deals with index and equity mutual funds. The goal is to analyse their performance regarding their risk, return and fees. The first part offers the characteristics of collective investments and its historic development in the USA. The second part introduces performance measuring approaches based on risk, return and fees which are used in the analytical part itself to confront mutual funds between themselves as well as with the benchmark. It all goes down to an interesting conclusion.

The fundamental analysis of the share of CEZ company

Nowadays, the investing in shares in the Czech republic become more popular way how to evaluate free finacial resources. It is way where the analysts try to find badly rated shares and base on bad evaluation they want to make profit. My bachelor's work focuses on the most used and the most favorite method, that uses to explain the movement of the share price, the fundamental analysis. The fundamental analysis consists of three parts: Global, sectoral, company. In the global fundamental analysis I focus on the main macroeconomics factors which influence the movement of the share price. Beside the sectoral fundamental analysis of energy sector in the Czech republic. Next i analyse ČEZ company from company poit of view where I numericaly mark the instrinsic value of the share of CEZ by some indicators.

The bachelor thesis deals with illegal trades in the capital markets. In the first chapter I focus on money laundering, describe its main features and the phases of the process of money laundering. I also give examples of some resolved cases. In the second chapter I focus on insider trading describing information asymmetry, the concept of inside information and examples of insider trading. In the last chapter legislation valid in the Czech Republic is briefly described.

Fundamental and Technical Analysis of Stock Komerční banka

The Bachelor's thesis deals with the fundamental and technical analysis of stock Komerční banka. After the introduction I concentrate on fundamental analysis, specifically global fundamental, sector fundamental and firm fundamental analysis in which I apply certain models in order to determine the intrinsic value of stock Komerční banka. In the next chapter of the thesis I concentrate on technical analysis of stock Komerční banka, I gradually concentrate on charts, chart's formations and technical indicators in order to determine a suitable time for purchase or sale of stock. The last chapter summarizes the results of both analyses and investment recommendations.

This work deals with three important capital markets in West Europe -- London Stock Exchange, Deutsche Börse and Swiss Stock Exchange. It tries to charakterize some elements of the compared stock markets on the basis of available data, and in that way to describe both different and common features. The aim of this study is to compare these three stock exchanges.
