Study of Electric and Thermal Properties of Building Materials with Conductive Additives

This work focuses on study of electric, dielectric and thermal properties of composite electrically conductive building materials composed of magnesium oxychloride cement and small amount of graphene and graphite admixtures. The aim of this work was to determine thermal properties of materials and create a model of electric current conduction mechanism in material. Electric and dielectric properties were determined with using of transient direct current measurement of resistivity and impedance spectroscopy. Thermal properties were investigated using transient step-wise method and fractal analysis of thermocamera data. Electrical resistivities of materials are determined from the direct current measurements. Model of transport of electrical charge carriers was evaluated by fitting impedance data to an equivalent electrical circuit model. Thermal conductivities and thermal capacities were determined by means of thermal measurements. The presented properties for example can be used for assessment of suitability for specific construction applications.

City House – Mixet Use Architecture

The territory lies in the City of Brno, in the urban district of Zábrdovice. From the east it is demarcated by the Svitava River, from the south by the Cejl Street, and from the west by the Jan Svoboda Street. Its area is approximately 18,790 m2. From the standpoint of urban planning¸ the intensive house is a separate city block, which is, nevertheless, open in the eastern direction towards the Svitava River, thus communicating with the embankment. In the other direction there is both private and semi-private space inside the block as a relaxation green “garden” in several levels. The mass of the object links up in the prolonged line with the existing neighbouring blocks and thus respects the integrity of the territory. Intensive use of the territory consists in the achievement of high density of built-up area, and at the same time preserving the surroundings of quality for life and habitation. Functions are mixed here and a city of short distances is created here with nearly excluded traffic. In order to achieve such intensity, space urbanism is employed. The principle consists in a simple linear form of masses respecting the shape of the lot, which is vivified with an ellipsoid located in the courtyard, which is an accent towards the linear form. The ellipsoid serves as a small cultural and exhibition centre, at the same time connecting all the arms of the defining block and bringing daylight to the first floor. The block is open in the direction to the river and its half-public space is connected with the embankment with a staircase and verdure. Verdure is also made use of on the roofs. The defining mass is perforated, thus creating covered terraces. The principal architectonic intention was to create an integrated structure, where a significant role is played by the introduction of nature and polyfunctionality to the whole territory, thus increasing its attractivity. Strategies for Ensuring OSH of Employees in Emergency Events

This diploma thesis is focused on the issue of occupational safety and health on case of emergency. The analysis of the current state in the area of potential risk of selected emergencies was performed. The attention was focused mainly on the current epidemiological situation, specifically on the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic and employees work in the office. The questionnaire survey was conducted, the results of which served as a basis of risk analysis by selected methods. Based on the obtained results, measures were proposed incl. financial evaluation.

The effect of the deep stabilization system on the prevention of knee injuries in soccer

This bachelor's thesis examines the deep spinal stabilization system and its effect on knee stability of soccer players for future injury prevention. Joint instability is cited as a major risk factor for non-contact knee injuries. Therefore, this thesis explores the possibility of improving its stability by improving the activation of the deep stabilization system of the spine. Soccer is a collective sport with a large player base and with this comes a high number of injuries. Among the most common of these are knee injuries. The movements performed in football require precise coordination of the activity of the muscles of the lower limbs. These movements are discussed in this thesis, along with the most common football-specific injury patterns. The functional aspects of the deep stabilization system of the spine are also presented. This is a set of muscles of the trunk, diaphragm and pelvic floor that, when properly coordinated, provide spinal bracing during posturally demanding positions. Its proper development begins in early childhood and its involvement depends, among other things, on the correct positioning of the segments. Influence of carbon monoxide on electrical discharge initiated processes in prebiotic atmospheres

This work focuses on discharge-initiated processes in prebiotic atmospheres based on carbon monoxide. The aim of this work was to determine how the composition of different reaction mixtures consisting of carbon monoxide with gaseous additives influences type and amount of plasma-generated products. The compositions of gaseous products formed by a chemical reaction were investigated using mass spectrometry (proton transfer reaction ionisation with time-of-flight detector). The compositions of reactive particles presented in plasma were determined by using optical emission spectroscopy. The presence of many hydrocarbons, nitriles, amines, aldehydes and alcohols was confirmed by means of mass spectrometry in mixture containing 200 sccm carbon monoxide, 4 sccm hydrogen and 4 sccm nitrogen. Optical emission spectroscopy has shown that the main reactive particles in plasma were atomic hydrogen, carbon and oxygen, C2 molecule and CN radical. The presented properties can for example be used for enrichment of existing knowledge about prebiotic Earth atmosphere, chemical processes in interstellar mass and atmospheres of exoplanets. That´s because carbon monoxide is one of the most common molecules present in universe.

The plot is located on the important street of Kapitán Jaroš, which is characterized by a generous street profile. This work aims to find a functional use of the gap, so that it can fulfill the needs of the local residents and appropriately follow the character of the place.

The Philosophical Topics in Selected Works by Milan Kundera

This philosophical-literary diploma thesis entitled "Philosophical Topics from Selected Literary Works of Milan Kundera" deals in the first part with the literary, historical and philosophical context. It then discusses the life and work of the writer Milan Kundera. The second part focuses on four prose works by Milan Kundera, namely on Laughable Loves, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Immortality and Ignorance. In these works, the author aims to draw reader's attention to the ideas of various philosophers that influenced the literary work of the writer Milan Kundera. Author compares the texts of important philosophers with the texts of Milan Kundera. It shows the great themes of human life as treated by the writer Milan Kundera. The work includes opinions of many literary scholars as well as the author's own perspective. The thesis can be of particular interest especially to those readers who want to delve into the depth of ideas contained in literary works of Milan Kundera.

Spiritual songs and their influence on Christian education in church kindergartens

The bachelor's thesis deals with sacred music in church kindergartens. The history of preschool institutions and the history of music in church education are mentioned at the beginning of the theoretical part of this thesis. The Czech fiction, which reflects the child's relationship to music in church educational institutions, is also mentioned in this bachelor's thesis. One of the chapters is devoted to general information about contemporary church kindergartens, a subchapter is devoted to the use of spiritual songs in church kindergartens. The last chapter of the theoretical part deals with the pedagogy of Franz Kett. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to answer research questions that deal with the use of spiritual songs in contemporary church kindergartens, the expansion of the pedagogy of Franz Kett by comparison with the bachelor's thesis of Lucie Drahokoupilová. The research was carried out using a questionnaire survey. The research questions, which are summarized in the last chapter, were answered thanks to the survey. SOUHRN 1. Byla prokázána schopnost kultury Schisandra chinensis glykosylovat hydrochinon na arbutin. 2. Nebylo prokázáno žádné uvolňování arbutinu do živného média kultury Schisandra chinensis 3. Zvýšením koncentrace prekurzoru hydrochinonu došlo ke zvýšení produkce arbutinu 4. V extraktech kalusů Schisandra chinensis byla po přidání prekurzorů kyseliny parahydroxybenzoové v koncentraci 200 mg/l a hydrochinonu v koncentraci 100mg/l opakovaně nalezena neznámá látka.
