Energy assessment of civil buildings

The aim of the thesis is the energy rating of buildings. The introduction included the issues of the topic, including normative and legislative regulations, process energy performance certificates along with energy audits for residential building. The object is evaluated in terms of energy, economic and environmental. Within the energy audit was designed and evaluated austerity measures.

Heating of the exhibition rooms

The bachelor thesis delas with the heating of the exhibition rooms and preparation of the warm water. The building will be heated by plate radiators, convectors and underfloor heating. As a heat source is used a heat pump. Warm water is prepared in the DHW cylinder, heated by the heating water from the heat source. The project deals with the desig,n dimensioning and connection of these parts. The thesis also includes a theoretical part on the topic of underfloor heating.

Plumbing Systems of the Multifunctional Building

The plumbing systems of the multifunctional building are solved in this bachelor‘s thesis. Dimension and pipe materials of the sewage system and water supply are designed in the building. The central water heating is solved by hot-water tank in the technical room. The water heating of kitchen sinks is solved by flow-heaters. The property connections are designed as well. Roof rain water is lead by rainwater downpipes on building facade. Car park rain water is lead by spill control oil – water separator. Roof rain water and car pak rain water are lead to the rainwater storage tank with regulated drain. The desing of the plumbing systems is made with usege of the appropriate technical standards.

Heating of the Chess Club with Accommodation

The project deals with heating and hot water preparation of the Chess Club in Brno. It is a three-storey building with a flat roof. Heating is mainly dealt with radiators. The heating system is divided into several branches according to the cardinal directions. The condensing gas boiler is the heat source. The theoretical part is focused on the heat sources.

Heating of the School Building

The subject of this bachelor's dissertation is heating of the Primary and the Kindergarten school's buildings. The main aim is to make a design of the heating system and the hot water preparation. The source of the heat is the hot-water pipe, which the buildings are connected trough the heating coil to.

Heating of flat house

The thesis is composed of three parts - theoretical, computational and a project part. The theoretical part deals with heat sharing through conduction, flow and radiation. The computational part is focused on the overall calculation of the heating system to operate smoothly and reliably. Three gas condensing boilers are designed as a source of heat. The heating of the water is solved as a reservoir. It's source of heat is one gas condensation boiler. The project part contains a technical report and the project documentation on the stage of the implementation dossier.

Energy Performance of Domestic Hot Water Preparation

Master’s thesis on Energy performance of domestic hot water preparation is concerned with calculating and comparing the energy performance of domestic hot water preparation in two-generation family house with an administrative part. Energy performance of domestic hot water preparation is calculated by two calculation methods and by experimental measurements, which are compared at the end of the thesis. The calculation is performed according to standard ČSN 06 0320 and set of standards ČSN EN 15316-3. Thesis is processed in accordance with valid legislative regulations.

Energy Performance of the Administrative Building

First part of this thesis describes possibilities of energy assessment of buildings, possibilities of using thermal imaging camera in civil engineering and using software solutions of energy assessment of buildings. Second part engages an energy assessment of administrative building of NEPA company in Brno and designes possibilities of improvements. Third part contains description of technical solution of the best improvement possibility.
