The use of social networking in live broadcast current affairs programs

The bachelor thesis is focused on usage social networks in television. Specifically is focused on the television show Hyde Park, which has been a part of ČT 24 broadcast since the year 2010. Hyde Park has become the first television show, which utilized social networks for viewers questions. Theoretical part consists of some key parts - web 2.0, social network, new media and defines the show Hyde Park. Practical part is aimed to period in the whole january 2014. This part includes five chapters. They examine the profiles of the Hyde Park on social networks - Facebok, Google+ and Twitter. It also explains through the quantitative analysis, which communication channel is prevalent. The bachelor thesis contains the analysis of participation of the guests in the show. Very imporant part is personal interview with Gabriela Cihlářová, who works as the editor of Hyde Park.
