Heating historic building alternative fuels

The introduction of theoretical part deals with issue of fuel. There are basic kinds of fuels, their properties and calorific values. In next part a summary of types of boilers depending on the kind of fuel is described. A process of burning in each type is discussed. Then the basic issue of heat transmission, heat losses and design of individual elements of central heating system is described. In the second part there are two studies compared to each other. In the first one an automatic pellet boiler is used as a source of energy and in the second one it’s a heat pump, type air-water. At the end both of the variants are reviewed and the better option is chosen. In the last part the better option is designed, into detailed design documentation. Important design values for using the heating system and hot water service are calculated.

Boiler-room apartment house

The introduction of the theoretical part of the thesis deals with condensing boilers. There is a description of the parts of boilers, gas combustion methods, the amount of combustion air and the overall running of condensing gas boilers. Other parts of the paper describe radiators, thermostatic valves, safety relief systems, piping and circulating pumps. The design section provides an illustrative example of the design of the heating system for a residential building with 12 apartments.

Sanitation installation and gas installation in a factory unit

This thesis deals with health - technical and gas pipeline installations in the industrial hall. The building is situated in Frydek Mistek. The theoretical part compares the applicable technical rules for gas in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. The work also deals with the issue of determining the size of the reservoir water heater in several variants and compared to surveys by the use of hot water in similar objects. The design part is then developed addressing health - technical and gas pipeline installation for the specified object of the industrial hall.

The bachelor´s thesis deals with design and technical disabled pipeline installation. The theoretical part contains informations about dimension internal water supply.. The computational part and the project include a project proposal of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, the indoor water supply and household gas and their connection to the current net. The project deals with a block of flats with a basement and four floors.

The theoretical part deals with the thermal comfort environment and requirements for heating elements. It also describes types of heating elements, their division and the basic methods involved in the central heating system. The design of project solves heating of superstructure of apartment building and hot water in the apartment building.
