Design of beer tap
Vaňková, Klára ; Sládek, Josef (referee) ; Ondra, Martin (advisor)
The subject of my bachelor thesis is the design of a beer tap, in particular portable beer cooler and dispenser with a built in air compressor which has to comply with demanding constructional, ergonomic and aesthetic requirements. The ultimate goal of the designing process is to facilitate the portability of the dispenser and enhance its looks by creating a new visual style relating to the Czech tradition.
Plumbing Systems of the Multifunctional Building
Vaňková, Klára ; Wierzbická, Helena (referee) ; Vendlová, Lucie (advisor)
The plumbing systems of the multifunctional building are solved in this bachelor‘s thesis. Dimension and pipe materials of the sewage system and water supply are designed in the building. The central water heating is solved by hot-water tank in the technical room. The water heating of kitchen sinks is solved by flow-heaters. The property connections are designed as well. Roof rain water is lead by rainwater downpipes on building facade. Car park rain water is lead by spill control oil – water separator. Roof rain water and car pak rain water are lead to the rainwater storage tank with regulated drain. The desing of the plumbing systems is made with usege of the appropriate technical standards.

Mobile Interpreter for iPhone
Vaňková, Klára ; Chrápek, David (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with detection of text in an image. It describes searching for MSER areas, finding which of those areas are letters by using SVM classifier and connecting the letters into words. This work shows the usage of text detection in the application Mobile Interpreter , which extracts text from a picture and translates the text into a home language. The application uses OpenCV library for image processing and Tesseract library for OCR functionality. This thesis describes implementation of a prototype of the application and presents the results of the text detection.
Optimization of indoor climate in a historical room
Vaňková, Klára ; Formánek, Marian (referee) ; Maurerová, Lenka (advisor)
Diploma thesis solves an indoor climate specializing to historical buildings. The thesis is devided to three parts. First part contains The experiment in historical rooms took place at Austerlitz chaetau. Humidity and temperature was mesuared and the impact of these two parametres was evaluated according to chosen methodic. Diploma thesis sol-ves optimalization of internal microclimate of these two rooms. Two types of heating are designed in accordance with technical standards. These types are evaluated according to different criterions and the best type of heating is chosen – infraheating.
Recognition of Home Appliances Based on Their Power Consumption Characteristics
Vaňková, Klára ; Černocký, Jan (referee) ; Schwarz, Petr (advisor)
The goal of this master's thesis is to design and implement a system for recognition of home appliances based on their power consumption characteristics. This system should identify the individual home appliances from measurements of the total household consumption. The acquired data could be used for statistics of usage of a particular appliance and subsequent detection of errors or non-standard behavior of the measured device. An important part of my work is a design and hardware implementation of a unit for measuring and a system for processing the measured signal. The first version of my project uses pulse output of an electrometer to measure the energy. This method does not provide a sufficient sample rate but it's a quick way to obtain data for processing and analysis. The second version monitors the power consumption with a multi-purpose AC converter which measures active and reactive power with the desired sample rate. The data is then processed and recognized by two classifiers - HMM and KNN.
Comparison of facilitation methods in three kilometers run
Vaňková, Klára ; Vacek, Jan (advisor) ; Řasová, Kamila (referee)
The main objective: The main objective of this bachelor thesis was to present information about kinesiotaping and sport massage to unprofessional athletes, primarily to runners. The next goal was to find out if any of these methods have positive effect on performance on three kilometers run. Methodology: A group of 15 healthy runners have joined the study, age from 17 to 52. With using stopwatches and sport-watches were the results of elapsed time recorded. At first without any of these methods, by the next testing we use kinesiotaping on m. rectus femoris and by the final testing we performed a massage of the lower limbs before performance. The data were evaluated by Student's paired t-test. Results: At the level of 5%, we can say, that massage before performance has positive effect on three kilometers run (p-value = 0,00833). In contrary we cannot confirm the improvement after kinesiotaping application (p-value = 0,10861), although most of the runner got faster on the track in compare to the times of the run without facilitation. Conclusion: Both methods, massage and kinesiotaping, are today necessary part of professional athletes training. In this bachelor thesis we declared positive effect of massage before performance. However each athlete suits different methods, so it is important to have...
Regular physical activities and its influence on the development of children with mental disabilities
Vaňková, Klára ; Pádivý, Martin (advisor) ; Kainová, Lucie (referee)
The aim of thesis is to create a comprehensive set of excercises for students with mental disabilities, attending primary school special. The set of excercises will be used, as a daily workout, with the children will have influenced in the common room before class begins. The warm -up will always take place at the same time in the same place to make it easier for children to develop a mobility habit. In the warm up, I will particularly focus on problem parts of students such as muscle dysbalance, flaccid and shortened back muscles. These problems stem from a long-term session on the school benches, but also from the different body structure of these children. However, I must take into account the health of the students and their mental level so that they are able to carry out the excercises at all. It is therefore necessary to consult with experienced educators and to study professional literature. The excercises should serve to create a mobility habit and improve their motor skills, while also repairing muscle dysbalance and strengthening and stretching back muscles. KEYWORDS Mental retardation, excercise, warm up exercises, children, mobility habit
