Men{\crq}s relation to animals in The Old Testament and nowadays
VINŠOVÁ, Jaroslava
This bachelor work only consists of a theoretical part which is divided into three main parts. The first one deals with men{\crq}s relation to animals in the Old Testament. It tries to define what determined this specific relation and what animal meant to human. The second part deals with men{\crq}s attitude to animals nowadays. It describes special ethical aspects that negatively affect animals, e.g. anthropomorphization of animals or, in the contrary, their degradation to mere objects. The third part tries to find a certain connecting link between present world and the Old Testament age and thus find an inspiration for today.
