Moral dilemmas of the teacher in preschool education

In kindergartens, teachers encounter various moral dilemmas in the course of their professional lives. The diploma thesis focuses on these dilemmas and tries to identify them and find out how they are solved by pedagogues and how they further influence them in their work. The aim of the thesis is to provide an insight into this area of the professional activity of female teachers in preschool education and thus contribute to a better understanding of the topic and at the same time break down certain belittling attitudes that perceive moral dilemmas in kindergartens as irrelevant to the solution and moral formation of pedagogues. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis deals with ethics and morality, reveals the roots of these fields and their unsystematic or often missing grasp in the work of pedagogues, in their effect on the moral formation of pupils, describes the personality of the pedagogue from the point of view of morality and ethics, not forgetting the ethics of duty and the ethics of virtue . Speech therapy prevention from the perspective of the kindergarten director

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of speech therapy prevention from the perspective of the kindergarten director. Specifically, by analyzing the current state, the level of work in kindergartens in the sense of ensuring cooperation with SPC, PPP, clinical speech therapist, further education of pedagogical staff with a focus on speech therapy assistant. It also investigates the possibilities of obtaining funds for aids for children with speech disorders and subsequently also wages for DVPP, or for possible cooperation with a clinical speech therapist directly in kindergarten. What motivational methods does the director choose for the active approach of teaching staff, whether he sees this area as crucial and is ready to make possible changes for it. The content of the practical part of the thesis is the analysis of research survey data, when the method of qualitative research was chosen, in the form of a semi-structured interview with two directors of selected nursery schools. The interview questions are prepared to lead to the goal of the bachelor thesis. Hospitalization activities from the point of view of kindergarten management

The bachelor thesis focuses on hospitalization in kindergartens from the management perspective as one of the essential tools for the development of pedagogical staff and improving the quality of kindergartens. It is divided into two main parts-theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part deals with control, dividing it into internal and external, and control as a managerial function. It also focuses on typical control in the school setting, hospitalization. It describes the principles of a properly conducted hospitalization, which should be known by every hospitalizer and the hospitalized, and the different concepts of the subject. The theoretical part also describes the forms of hospitalization that can be carried out in a kindergarten and the methods of further education related to hospitalization. The empirical part presents a research investigation that aimed to find out the form of hospitalization in kindergartens, the use of the results of the hospitalization and the development of teachers through hospitalization activities. Specifics of bilingual school management

This bachelor's thesis deals with the specifics of managing a bilingual school. The goal of the thesis was to find out what the specifics of bilingual school management are in the area of people management and management of the pedagogical process in comparison to a traditional school. To create this thesis, the method of studying professional domestic and foreign literature and other available sources was used. Thanks to this method, it was found out what the differences are between the management of traditional and bilingual schools. The work is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part focuses on the basic conceptual definition related to the researched issue, based on professional literature. The first chapters define school management, further characterize the school director, his assumptions and competences. This is followed by a chapter dedicated to managing people, managing human resources and managing pedagogical processes. Adaptation in pre-primary education

My diploma thesis deals with the adaptation process of new-coming teachers who enter the pre-primary education system. The adaptation should prepare them especially for a teacher's position, acquaint them with the organisation culture and help them to integrate into the new social environment. The theoretical part is focused on personnel activities in the organisation, adaptation, mentoring, the adaptation process of a new teacher as well as on the adaptation plan. The thesis aims at examining the functionality of the adaptation plan used in a kindergarten in Prague and developing a proposal for adaptation plan changes based on the reflection of the needs during the adaptation of the teachers who started to work in the kindergarten. The research is based on a questionnaire survey and interviews with the teachers and mentors of the kindergarten in Prague. The questionnaire survey and interviews are supposed to find out what the teachers needed most during the adaptation, if the adaptation plan was of any help for the new-coming teachers, what the teachers would like to change in their adaptation plan to make it more helpful and to make it meet their needs during their adaptation, as well as what the mentors would like to change in the adaptation plan to make it more efficient.
