Kadlec, Daniel ; Zámečníková, Kateřina (advisor) ; Tomová, Šárka (referee)
The bachelor thesis in the overview of the literature deals with the topics associated with chronic myeloid leukemia as well as with the education and the role of a nurse. This part also consists of other topics that help the reader understand comprehensively the whole topic relating to the empirical part. Method: The mainstay of the empirical part is the questionnnaire of own structure serving for the achievement of partial aims of this thesis. 89 respondents (100%) from FN Plzeň, VFN Praha and FN Královské Vinohrady participated in this survey. I set the aims that should ascertain educational prerequisites of nurses, the most used educational method and the satisfaction with the educational materials. Then on the basis of findings from the survey I was also trying to find out what would motivate nurses to improve their educational abilities. In conclusion I drew up the educational standard proposition for a faculty workplace complemented by the proposition of an educational training for nurses. The main goal is to improve the education of nurses. In the empirical part I pursue the analysis of the respondents' answers as well as the hypotheses verifying a link of the nurses' satisfaction with didactic materials and also how the nurses' education influences their motivation for additional...

The aim of this work was to compare two different treatment units. III. Chirurgickou kliniku 1 LF UK a FN Motol and Interní kliniku 2 LF UK a FN Motol. The research was planned at I. Chirurgická klinika 2. LF UK a FN Motol, but I didn't receive an answer with an agreement. The next goal was to compare which clinic has a richer experience. To find out, whether the intensive care unit has higher quality care compared to the standard unit. The theoretical part describes different options for how a venous catheter gets inserted. There are introduced kinds of venous catheters, that are available nowadays. They have also mentioned their benefits for patients. Knechtová, Zdeňka ; Koťa, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Kyasová, Miroslava (referee) ; Tomová, Šárka (referee)
38 Summary The aims of the research presented in this thesis were twofold: (a) to evaluate how master's students in intensive care nursing reflect theoretical and practical teaching and (b) to identify whether selected factors (a form of study, focus of reflection and time) are related to the level of reflective skills of the students. The research included 39 full-time and part- time students of the master's program Intensive Care at the Masaryk University Faculty of Medicine. The data source was 22 portfolios of full-time students and 17 portfolios of part- time students gathered during four subsequent semesters (from the beginning to completion of the study). A total of 3460 reflective journal records were analyzed. The data were first analyzed quantitatively using the REFLECT rubric analytical tool. Subsequently, a thematic qualitative content analysis of reflections was performed. Quantitative data analysis revealed two key research findings: (a) the students scored relatively low in all assessed reflective skills dimensions, (b) there are differences in reflective skills between full-time and part-time students. Full-time students achieved a higher level of reflective skills than part-time students, and full-time students reflected more in the number of diary entries (compared to part-time students)....
