70 Resumé (Summary) The topic of this graduation thesis is "Rent from flats". The purpose of my thesis is to analyze the changes, which has Act No. 107/2006 Coll., about unilateral escalation of rent brought into special provisions on lease of flat in Civil Code and to create summary of rent regulations its development in past few years in Czech Republic. The thesis is composed of ten chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of Lease and Rent form flats. Chapter One is introductory and defines the conflict between the lessor and the lessee. Chapter Two analyses lease of flat as legal ground for housing. Chapter Three defines the flat. Chapter Four is subdivided into two parts, part one describes lease contract and part two explains alternative methods of its conclusion. Chapter Five deals with rights and duties form leas of flat and is divided in three subparts, each dealing with special right from lease contract. Chapter Six explains Rent and its development till nowadays and is divided in four parts. First three parts are about rent development and the last part examines relevant Czech legislation about unilateral escalation of rent.
