This doctoral dissertation thesis has impact to holistically development extension of information systems. Thesis has impact to analytical models and its transformation methods. This thesis is focused on models Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) and Business Object Relational Modeling (BORM). Model BPMN is developed since 2000. Model BORM is developed since 1993 and it is older. The thesis general target was extension of holistically development of information systems. The main target was to bridge the gap between BPMN and BORM models. This thesis was inspired by Finite State Machine (FSM). The state of the art describes approaches to models transformation. In the analytical part the mathematical formula are used to describe transformation. This part is used to base for the implementation part. The implementation part contains transformation algorithm its description and verification on the case studies. Impact of developed transformation method is validated on the comparison with the other approaches. The targets were aimed and documented automated transformation calculus. The impact of automated BPMN and BORM models connection using transformation method. The result is method of automated transformation from BPMN model to BORM model using algorithm. The transformation method is based on the Mealy automaton.
Methodology of design multidimensional databases in the farm environment
Vasilenko, Alexandr ; Klimešová, Dana (advisor) ; Toman, Prokop (referee)
This dissertation thesis is focused on bulk unsolicited messages which are present in current time in all sectors of electronic communications. It is not only e-mail communication, but also in online forums, discussion contributions, social networking and more. Analyze spam messages is therefore an essential element in preventing flooding user mailboxes. Antispam countermeasures is a set of processes, software tools and methods. It is necessary to harmonize all these components into one cooperating piece of service. Administrators of email servers are trying to keep their servers optimally configured. The problem is that spammers trying continuously these defense mechanisms and filter bypass to enhance spam processes. Their work is very sophisticated and this fight does not yet have a clear winner. After enhancement techniques either processes takes place after a certain time to balance the advantages and disadvantages. For these reasons it is necessary to have a tool which can be analyzed in depth junk messages with dynamic data views. This tool can be Online Analytical Processing (OLAP below), which is very suitable for this purpose. Presented a method of data extraction and transformation and preparation for storage in a warehouse DT-MEZ (Data Pump - metadata email messages). This method is part of the methodology ASOLAP (Antispam - OLAP).
Evaluation of information security in information systems
Urbanec, Jiří ; Toman, Prokop (advisor) ; Vlasta , Vlasta (referee)
Information is a valuable asset for organizations and a source of competitive advantage nowadays. Therefore it is necessary to retain information security characteristics of processes and systems in required limits and continuously evaluate the state using measurement. The problem in measurement shows to be in the selection of suitable characteristics and measures of the processes or the products, which are subject to measurement. The main aim of the dissertation thesis is to design methodic for evaluating information security in information systems and formulate conclusions and recommendations for its use in practice. The situation in The Czech Republic was obtained based on a quantitative survey in which data was collected by means of a questionnaire survey (N=785; n=101) and qualitative research was conducted in the 3 organizations from financial sector in the Czech Republic. Results showed that at present an absolute majority of surveyed organizations evaluate information systems from the perspective of risk to valuable information (58.49%). Organizations evaluating information security are most often to identify weaknesses and emerging issues (41.5%). Only a 17.6% of them measure. The designed methodic identifies behavioral model of the organization, defines measurable characteristics of the system and the organization based on extended security model, defines process of development of the measures based on GQM tool, engages measurement process compatible with ISO 27004 and presents evaluation procedure using measured values. The proposed procedures and constructs focused on improvement of field detected by the survey, the "information classification" and "difference between perception of information value between owner and processor". The procedures were validated on two anonymous organizations and are presented in form of case studies. One of the conclusions is, that proposed methodic is applicable mostly in organizations with strong technical and financial base, where it is possible to overcome requirements of measures development processes and measurement application. Also the methodic of evaluation has its own limits of applicability.

Influence of informatization upon evolution in the specific socio-economic environment
Fučík, Ivan ; Toman, Prokop (advisor) ; Sigmund, Tomáš (referee)
This thesis analyzes the impact of the informatization on evolution in the specific socio-economic environment. It is divided into two main parts. The first one theoretically defines the notion of socio-economic environment as a naturally evolving system consisting of animate and inanimate elements with their relationships and influences to each other in dependency on knowledge and data structure. It also specifies the real essence and origin of these influences since the beginning of informatization up to the present time. In the second part is the theoretical definition used to analyze an informational system of a real company focused on consulting services. The research examines the relationship between the IS and its users in order to formulate an impact on both sides and how these impacts influence further evolution of the system.
Relationship between man and machine
Smirnov, Artem ; Sigmund, Tomáš (advisor) ; Toman, Prokop (referee)
The area of interest of this thesis is the relationship between man and machine. The subject of the work is the clear explanation of the unique features of human intelligence and especially of specific characteristics of the mind, the inability of machines to think in a full sense of the word, the causes of mistaken assumptions of artificial intelligence and general principles of connection between humans and computers. The purpose and goal is to show that the future possibility of computers to prevail over people and completely replace the human role in the information system is not so likely as it may seem at the first sight. The thesis describes the general principles of human-computer connection with regard to their capabilities and limitations. Also thesis contains an analysis of selected application for assessing the appropriateness of the allocation of functions between the program and the man in the opinion of the author.

The Relationship of the Right to Privacy and the Right to Information in the Czech Republic
Bardiovská, Petra ; Sigmund, Tomáš (advisor) ; Toman, Prokop (referee)
This bachelor thesis offers a view on two basic human rights, a right to privacy and a right for information and deals with situations in which these rights stand against each other and come into conflict. The dispute between these two rights always needs to be adjudicated and so one of these rights is prevailed over the other one. However, to decide which to law should be given priority and which will be limited, it is not always easy. This thesis tries to answer a question if a solution for the mentioned conflicts can be found and if it can be commonly applied. A part of this thesis is focused on disputes between the mentioned rights that are connected with a use of internet services. A questionnaire included in this thesis identifies internet users awarness on fundamental rights and duties, potential risks associated with internet services use and also examines whether users prefer privacy to other subjects awareness.
