Soil classification based on soil texture measurements by standard and modern methods
Faltínová, Klára ; Tomášová, Gabriela (referee) ; Paseka, Stanislav (advisor)
The master thesis is devoted to the problems of soil particle distribution. The particles distribution of fine particles samples are analysed by sieve method, hydrometer method, pipette method and laser diffraction method. Soil types are determined on the basis of graphs expressing the particle size distribution. The conclusion of the work is focused on the comparison of the performed methods and results, especially sedimentation and laser diffraction methods. In some cases, changes are suggested to refine the measurements statements.
Pedological investigation for the design of a natural swimming pool in Olešná u Blanska
Ouředníková, Eliška ; Tomášová, Gabriela (referee) ; Paseka, Stanislav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is devoted to the problems of pedological investigation including detailed analysis of collected soil samples, such as determination of physical, mechanical and chemical properties of soil. The detailed pedological investigation is followed by another part of the bachelor thesis which deals with the design of bathing ponds, suitable vegetation and animal life in them. The main part of the thesis describes field sampling, laboratory work, evaluation of measurement results and soil classification. The thesis also presents swimming pond zones, materials for construction, examples of fish stocking and flora for the regeneration zone. The thesis includes an evaluation of a practical application, which was carried out in a specific location in the village of Olesna, and a design of the bathing pond is included.
Větrná eroze v krajinném kontextu střední Evropy
Tomášová, Gabriela
This presented bachelor‘s thesis deals with a determination of a granular composition of a extracted fraction from fields by the laser granulometry method and a comparison of results obtained from the pipetting method and a known eolithic sediment. In the first part of this thesis, basic problems of the wind erosion are mentioned as in the world as in the territory of the Czech Republic and Slovakia, counter-measures and methods of measurement. 8 samples from autumn 2017 and 8 samples from spring 2018 were compared from South Moravian and Trnava region with potential occurrence of wind erosion. In the comparison, differences were found between source (rising) and basic fractions. In the conclusion, a comparison of the individual fractions with the reference samples was performed.
