The influence of formative assessment on the self-assessment of pupils in the teaching of informatics at primary schools
Vaníček, Petr ; Novák, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Tocháček, Daniel (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with the question of what are the differences in self-assessment among pupils who worked with formative assessment and those who were assessed by a teacher and assed with a regular classification. The target group were students of the secondary school the studied subject was Computer Science. The goal of the thesis was to find out how the introduction of formative assessment into teaching will affect the student's self-evaluation. In the theoretical part, the author defines key terms with an emphasis on types of school assessment, student peer assessment, self-assessment and classification. It also touches on the teaching of IVT at the lower secondary school from the perspective of the framework education program and the school education program. For the research was chosen a qualitative research strategy - the peer observation technique. The research took place in parallel in the class 8.A, where the pupils were monitored and evaluated by the teacher during the half-term, and only at the end of the semester they received self-evaluation questionnaires to fill out. The 8th grade students continuously worked with mutual evaluation and self-evaluation the whole time, the teacher here played the role of an observer and a mentor. At the end of the semester, they filled out the...
Interactive technology in education
Svobodová, Kristýna ; Lapeš, Jakub (advisor) ; Tocháček, Daniel (referee)
The bachelor's thesis is devoted to various types of interactive technologies and their integration into the educational process at the second level of elementary schools. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to find out how teachers approach the use of interactive technologies in education at ordinary elementary schools. In the theoretical part, the reader is first introduced to the concept of interactive technology, then to selected types of interactive technologies that can be effectively used in elementary school teaching, and to their application in the classroom. At the end of this section, the theoretical basis for obtaining and creating didactic materials for interactive technologies is described. The practical part of the bachelor thesis is focused on the use of interactive technologies in education at the second level of elementary schools. At the end of the theses, the conclusions of the research, which was carried out by using a semi-structured interview with the principals and a questionnaire survey, whose respondents were teachers of second grade of elementary schools in Prague, are formulated. Development of digital literacy in primary school education
Zbuzková, Eliška ; Novák, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Tocháček, Daniel (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with the search for the possibilities of developing digital literacy in primary school subjects focusing on the digital competence of communication and collaboration in the sixth year of primary school. The theoretical part defines the concepts of digital literacy and essential digital competence, which was added as the seventh key competence in the revision of the Framework Curriculum for Primary Education in 2021. Subsequently, the relationship between these two concepts and the context of their emergence is explained. An overview of the learning outcomes of the curriculum areas of the FCE Framework usually taught in the sixth year of primary school is based on an analysis of a few selected school curricula. In addition to the materials needed for the pupil's advancement in digital literacy, the DigCompEdu European Framework of Digital Competences for Educators is also summarised. This defines the digital competencies teachers need to have to develop digital literacy in their pupils correctly and effectively. Last but not least, the theoretical part of the thesis contains an overview of websites with online materials designed to develop digital competence in pupils and a list of selected general means of communication and collaboration that could be used for sending...
Using "Ozobot" in the kindergarten
Bochňák, Jan ; Černochová, Miroslava (advisor) ; Tocháček, Daniel (referee)
The diploma thesis examines options of using the ozobot robotic toy for education in kindergarten. The theoretical part is based on introduction of key concepts and review of existing knowledge about digital education with aims on early childhood education and care. In addition to the legislative framework and expert findings on digital technologies in preschool age, the risks associated with their use are also taken into account. Furthermore, the theoretical part includes findings about educational robotics and a description of the basic parameters of the ozobot toy, which is the focus of the research. The possibilities of using an ozobot in kindergarten are examined in the form of a case study that focuses on two levels of this issue, firstly on the features and functions of the ozobot, and secondly on how children perceive the ozobot and how they approach it with the aim of identifying possible obstacles, that may arise in kindergartens when working with the ozobot, offer the created thematic blocks for use and provide useful methodological guidelines and recommendations for them. The case study was carried out in one Prague kindergarten in two time-separated cycles, each time with a different group of six children aged 5-6 years from a different class. Ten thematic blocks with an ozobot were...
Educational Robotics in leisure activities
Erbes, Oliver ; Tocháček, Daniel (advisor) ; Lapeš, Jakub (referee)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on the preparation and organization of activities in facilities providing leisure activities and youth education in hobby departments. The aim of the work is to create a set of tasks related to the robotic set VEX, which will then be verified by students in leisure activities and subsequently analyse their output.. In the theoretical part we aim for a suitable definition of basic concepts of robotics, educational robotics, basic pedagogical methods for this type of robotic teaching, basics of algorithms, familiarization with other robotic sets and a description of the selected kit.
