Fees of designers, engineers and technicians in construction

The diploma thesis is focused on the determining the fees of designers, engineers and technicians in construction engineering. The introduction of the thesis defines the fee, the eligible costs, the fee zones or the budget. In order to determine the fee, historical and current expert publications were presented in detail, according to which the calculation of fees is determined. Based on the publications, these methods were applied to three model examples and then the results were compared. In addition, a short questionnaire is included in the thesis, where asked designers, engineers or technicians present a calculation method or a combination of the methods they use to determine their fees. On the basis of these facts and findings, an overall evaluation of the fees is made.

The aim of this thesisis to defineand clarify the concepts of safety and hygiene at work in building industry. The theoretical part explains the issue of hygiene in the building industry. Second part of theoretical part is devoted to safety of work. The thesis is dividend this way to secure that practical part, which deals with securing of safety and hygiene at work in building companies, is fluently continued by theoretical part.

Modeling of the design of construction

The diploma thesis deals with modeling of the design of construction. The model will include technical, cost and cost information about the building. The model object is a family house. The thesis is composed of a theoretical part, which presents basic knowledge from the field of designing, budgeting, valuation and operation of building work. The practical part is designed by a building with all the requisites and with information.

Building budgeting as part of building information modeling (BIM)

The main aim of this task deals with analysis of the possibility of valuing building budgets in the building information model (BIM). The work is divided into two parts. The first, research part, presents the necessary definitions and concepts, such as definitions of BIM, LOD, CDE, which are needed for working with (BIM) software. The second, practical part, analyses possible ways to determine building budgets using the building information model on one building, which was modeled in the student version of Graphisoft ArchiCAD 24.

Prices of construction work on historic protected buildings

The main objective of the thesis is to introduce the prices of construction industry and methods of their determination. Furthermore I will introduce selected historical monument - the former provincial hospital in Prague, well known today as „Porodnice u Apolináře“ and I will focus on its history and current status. The budget for the reconstruction of the roof covering of cultural heritage will be set up a in accordance with the requirements of the „Národní památkový ústav“ (slate roofing) based on available inputs. Then the prices of different types of roofing will be compared and evaluated with regard to their lifetime.

Valuation of Immovable Cultural Monuments

Valuation of immovable cultural monuments is the current topic when cultural heritage is being restored. With its individual character based on the nature of cultural monuments, it is not easy to put forward a uniform award procedure for all cultural monuments. This work aims to create a basic overview of concepts and definitions dealing with issues related to cultural monument, to define the procedure of proclaiming the object as a cultural monument and to focus on valuation procedures with an emphasis on the contribution method.

This work explores issues of innovation and innovative entrepreneurship. Doctoral thesis focuses on the characteristics of product and process innovation in the construction company. The aim of doctoral thesis is to analyze the situation in terms of innovation, funding sources and measure the effectiveness of innovation processes in general and in the context of construction enterprises using a questionnaire survey. The main objective is to define a systematic procedure for rehabilitation of the building company in crisis, using process innovation and its verification on case study in the construction company.

Price analysis of the selected building

This bachelor thesis will address optimization of price of construction work building in Brno. The main part of the building object I choose the roof structure. From a price optimization program will be used BuildPowerS from RTS. As input materials will be use dan itemized budget from a specific building supply company. The first part is devoted to the terminology associated with apporoach to budgeting and calculations. The second part is devoted to the practical part, where I compare the prices of the roof construction of the price ptimalization program BuildPowerS form RTS and the prices of specific building supply company. Finally, calculations are compared and determined whether the calculation of the specific building supply company is the right.
