Due to the fact that French Switzerland shares a large part of its literary development with neighbouring France, this thesis is divided into two parts. The first one is concerned with monologue in French theatre in general. There are three chapters that present issues related to the definition of theatrical monologue, the development of monologue as an individual form, main questions that arise in connection with contemporary monological plays, as well as several French dramatists that have had a significant influence on this specific genre. The second part is focused on works of three authors coming from French Switzerland. Each of them has written and published at least three monological plays. Namely, these are Robert Pinget, Jacques Probst and David France Jakubec. They all represent completely different creative approaches therefore each of them is presented in a separate chapter. The terms of "alien" and "alienation" in the work of Bernard-Marie Koltès

My work deals with the concepts of "alien" and "alienation" in the main dramatic works by Bernard-Marie Koltèse. It reflects the author's relationship to black Africa and his feeling of self distinction from his society and an inability to integrate into this society. It also shows how this "otherness" is reflected in his figures. In the following chapters the work deals with author's dramatic treatment of space and time and alienation of the text using specific language tools. Based on the analysis of individual works I evaluate the identical or divergent attitudes to these subjects making a comprehensive view of Koltès's concept of alien. At the end of my work I conclude that although all Koltès's games are completely different, the basic elements are the same. The author's attitude to the already mentioned topics is invariant and acts as a unifying element of his work. Key words: theatre, alienation, alien

Recruiting and selection employees in cultural NGOs.

This thesis deals with processes of recruitment and selection of employees in cultural non-profit organizations. The main goal is to describe the methods used for recruitment and selection in these organizations, compare these methods with theoretical methods and identify the specifics of recruitment and selection, which are recognized by key actors in the process. The theoretical part describes the main aprroaches to the recruitment and selection of employees, defines NGOs in general and the part of NGOs that mediate cultural activities to the public. The research uses qualitative design and depth interviews with leaders of cultural NGOs, in order to describe a method of recruiting and selecting employees and to reveal the specifics of cultural NGOs in these processes.
