The education of people with Asperger's Syndrome

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of education of people with Asperger syndrome. The aim of this bachelor thesis was to learn, by the means of qualitative research methods, how already adult people with Asperger syndrome evaluate the course of their education. This thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical section. The theoretical section contains the definition of basic terms. It deals with education of pupils and students with special educational needs, considering the issue of Asperger's syndrome, not only from the legislative point of view, but also from the pedagogical point of view. The practical section of this bachelor thesis, be means of three case studies, investigated how already adult people with Asperger syndrome evaluate the course of their education. The sources of the data, the case studies are based on, include interviews with respondents interviewed in 2006, asking the same questions in both interviews. Other sources were medical reports, educational and psychological counselling center reports, newly conceived interviews with respondents and interviews with respondents' mothers. Drop-out of the beginning teachers

The Diploma thesis focuses on the drop-out of beginning teachers. Theoretical part elaborates on the phenomenon of drop-out, it describes the reasons why the beginning teachers leave and why they are the group of teachers which is the most threatened by drop-out. Furthermore, this part describes problems that beginning teachers have to deal with and the most frequent reasons for leaving the profession, their rate and consequences of drop-out. The end of the theoretical part presents options and suggestions that would help solve this problem. The empirical part of the thesis is realized by an on-line questionnaire and in-depth interviews. The research focuses on four main aspects: 1 - the motivation to study the teaching and to practise it, 2 - the main reasons for new teachers to leave, 3 - the possibilities to prevent drop-out and 4 - whether the respondents continue to work with children or not. Last but not least, the research focuses on the possibilities that would help respondents to stay in the profession. The results of the research confirm the reasons for quiting as described by literature. The qualitative description of the reasons for drop-outs provides a deeper understanding of how they interact in an institutional, interactive and cultural level. Ethic Education for Elementary School Úvaly

The education of ethics on Elementary school of Uvaly is carried out using the "Send it further" method since school year 2013/2014. Its aim is to create a complete system of ethical education. The output of this project was the creation of an ethical codex (student - teacher - parent) during the school year 2016/2017. The aim of this thesis is to describe and analyze the current status of implementation of ethical education in practice at Elementary school of Uvaly. The working hypothesis "Is it necessary to create a system of ethical education?" was verified using content analysis and guided interview methods. One of the prerequisites for the hypothesis verification was to make ethical education an integral and mandatory part of curricular school documentation. Furthermore, the thesis verifies the impact of practical ethics (in the form of an ethical codex) on personal and social education. Diploma thesis deal with health and healthy lifestyle and is focused on nutrition and eating older school pupils. The theoreticial part of the thesis is focused on key concepts of the topic, that is health and healthy lifestyle, the thesis deals with the topic of nutrition related to health, eating habits, body weight - malnutrition, overweight and obesity. The thesis is focused for eating in school canteens. The main goal of the thesis was using the survey questionnaire to analyze of attitudes of pupils at primary school doctors Františka Ladislava Riegra in Semily in terms of healthy lifestyle and eating habits. Another goal was the assessment of school meals in school canteens and the observation of pupils during meals at the primary school.
