The aim of the master‘s thesis is static and structural design of polyfunctional house. The load will be determined according to ČSN EN 1990. The finite element method will be used for the calculation of internal forces. The design will be dimensioned according to ČSN EN 1992. Text part, static calculation and shape and reinforcement drawings will form the output of this work.

Design and Review of Locally Supported Ceiling Plates

The paper is focused solutions locally supported reinforced concrete floor slab above 1.NP. To solve internal forces used finite element. Results of the finite element method will be compared with results from the simplified calculation methods. Dimensioning construction will be carried out according to ČSN-EN 1992-1-1 for ultimate limit state. It will be constructed model design, structural analysis, design documentation and accompanying Report.

Dynamic forces and speed of the front kick and roundhouse kick in combat activities: Systemic review

Title: Dynamic forces and speed of the front kick and roundhouse kick in combat activities: Systemic review. Objective: The main goal of this study was to compare dynamic forces and velocity of the front kick and roundhouse kick in combat activities. Methods: This bachelor thesis was processed as a systematic review of literature and studies dealing with dynamic forces and kinematics of front kick and roundhouse kick. The methodological procedure of processing was chosen on the basis of the international recommendation PRISMA. For the initial selection of potential studies, a script was compiled and used to reduce them from search databases (Web of Science, SportDiscus, Proquest, PubMed). Selected studies had to meet predetermined methodological criteria, including experimental description, in order to classify and then compare the results of dynamic forces and kinematics of front kick and roundhouse kick. Results: Higher maximum forces, impact forces, angular velocities of the hip and knee in extension and hip in flexion were measured in a front kick, as well as a shorter impact time. Signalling of personality and stress response by secondary sexual traits in a socially monogamous passerine

Secondary sexual traits play an irreplaceable role in the reproduction of a range of animals and are used as quality and fitness sensors during pairing of individuals. Expression of these traits, ornamentes, can correlated with an individual's personal and behavioral strategies. In the case of melanin ornaments, not only the relationships with personal individuals are considered, but there is the possible connections with stress resistance and the level of stress responses too. This hypothesis is based on the pleiotropic effect of the melanocortin system, which can be used during melanogenesis but also in the production of hormones that contribute to range of stress responses. The aim of this work was to clarify the relationship between an individual's ornaments, his stress response and individuality in the barn swallows (Hirundo rustica rustica). In this work the relationship between selected ornaments and the stress reaction of the organism, stressed glucose levels measured 15 minutes after a stress stimulus, was tested. Both sexes showed a correlation between area of white tail spots and stress response. Scaling of intelligence in mammals focused on cognitive abilities of primates

Currently, there are two prevailing theories explaining the distribution and evolution of intelligence (higher cognitive) skills in animals. The first hypothesis considers that the terms of general principles of intelligence common to at least all vertebrates and individual taxa, according to this hypothesis, differ only quantitatively. The second hypothesis is based on the assumption that every animal is its cognitive abilities perfectly adapted to their environment and that it is therefore a mental adaptation to changing environmental conditions. The prerequisite of this hypothesis is the existence of qualitatively different types of cognitive abilities (types of intelligence). The aim of this work would be to provide a broader view regarding the measurement of intelligence and hypotheses concerning its development. Furthermore, the evaluation of the success of the model types of cognitive tests in primates, their interspecies comparison and for comparison with human and also compared the relative success with brain size and other factors.
