This diploma thesis deals with the construction project of the outbound base of the emergency medical service in Zabreh na Morave. More specifically, this thesis deals with the study of the development of the building, the technological regulation for the flat roof, and the subsequent chapters - design and assessment of the lifting mechanism, optimal design of the building site, timetable, itemized budget, control and test plan, etc. An interesting point is the simulation of the construction, where a 3D model and a video are created. The thesis is based on a borrowed documentation of the project.

Technological Solution of the Roofing of a Detached House in Nový Malín

The bachelor thesis deals with the technological solution of the roofing of detached house in Nový Malín, of saddle roof in particular. The thesis deals with the design of a wooden supporting structure and the design of the roof cladding with superstructure insulation. The work contains the technical report, site plan, bill of quantities, technological regulation, budget, solution of the construction organization, time schedule, design of the machine assembly, control and test plan, safety of the solved phase and economic evaluation of the variant roofing solution.

Developing communicative competence through online discussion tasks: computer mediated communication and the skill of writing

This dissertation deals with the developing and development of EFL learners' communicative competence in writing in a blended learning course. The dissertation addresses issues related to the conceptualization of developing communicative competence and measuring learners' progress as well as using ICT in foreign language teaching. The underlying research question was whether learners' communicative competence changed after using a series of online discussion tasks, and if so, in what manner. The empirical research was conducted as a case study in which 18 learners in an EFL course at the CEFR A2 level participated in three discussion tasks conducted online, using asynchronous discussion forum. The discussions were built on social constructivist learning theories. Methods of data collection and analysis included pre- and post-tests, learner corpus compiled from the texts written by the students in two online discussions and its analysis, and a questionnaire survey. The results showed that learners' overall level of communicative competence in writing improved. Specifically, the syntactic complexity of learners' language produced at the beginning and at the end of the course increased and learners' perceived fluency in writing improved. Feasibility studies of constructional investment projects and investment project cycle

The topic of this thesis is the evaluation of investment efficienty in enterprises. First section summarizes common knowledge related to investments process and states methods used for analysis of investments efficienty. Second part evaluates economic efficienty of investments planned and implemented in the particular enterprise. The main sources for these data was the enterprise environment itself. Also factual and financial pros and cons of investment plannig are taken into consideration in this part of thesis, as well as financial assessment of particular investment having been contributed to the housing reconstuction. The thesis also analyses ways of financing and portfolio selection in view of the most considerable impacts on the final investment project efficienty.
