Esthetic Procedures at the Dental Hygienist's Office

This bachelor's thesis is focused on esthetic procedures provided by the dental hygienist. There is summarised information about the main esthetic procedures (airflow, polishing, teeth bleaching and application of dental jewellery) in the theoretical part. Two questionnaires were provided in practical part. The first one was targeted at patients of the dental hygienists and the second one targeted at dental hygienists, whose responses represent experience and opinions of dental experts. The result of questionnaires: The vast majority of patients is interested in the appearance of their teeth, they're willing to invest their time and money into them. Dental hygienists are responsible for individual professional care about the patients' teeth and for motivating patients to take care of their oral cavity. 75 % of DH said that they use more often airflow than polishing for removing extrinsic stains. 70 % of patients, who know airflow treatment were also treated by airflow. More than 80 % were satisfied with the result and they would undergo this procedure again. Only some patients were bleached, in spite of interest in bleaching teeth. The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of debt collection. Thesis is dividend into several parts. The theoretical part defines receivables of legal, accounting, tax and economic terms. The analytical part analyses receivables of entrepreneur and evaluated his current state. The last part is about solutions that will improve the situation about receivables.
The issue of causal link in disputes over compensation of damage to health

This thesis deals with the issue of causation in disputes relating to compensation of damage to health. The aim of this work is to give a comprehensive interpretation of this issue. The work presents possible approaches of proving a causality between illegal misconduct during treatment and the damage caused to a patient. In medico-legal disputes patient must carry the burden of proof. It also compares the European legislation in relation to the necessary degree of proof with the main focus on German legislation and institutes created by the case law of German courts. Furthermore it presents the interpretation of causality in terms of the Principles of European Tort Law. The work deals marginally with certain aspects of proceedings concerning compensation of damage to health and expert assessment.

Slovenian Road to Democracy and its Milestones

Precis The Bachelor's Thesis "Slovenian Road to Independence and its Milestones" deals with the process of democratization and independence of Slovenia during the years 1986 to 1991. After the summary of the country development within the Habsburg monarchy and then in Yugoslavia the thesis focuses on the events after 1986 as a crucial milestone of the Slovenian road to independence. In Slovenia won in 1986 in Slovene communist party liberal wing led by Milan Kučan, advocating a democratic political system and gradual economic reforms. In Serbia became one year later the leader of the Serbian communist party Slobodan Miloševič, the propagator of the idea of Great Serbia. In Serbia thus won a conception of a centralized state based on nationalism. In this situation, it was not possible to agree on the basic functioning of the federation, let alone the future orientation of Yugoslavia. After the Yugoslav People's Army took up Serbian's quarrel and began to militarily threaten Slovenia, there had been a gradual convergence of Ljubljana government with the opposition, which culminated in January 1989 when the Slovene communist party renounced its political monopoly.
