Dendrologické vyhodnocení vybraných porostů dřevin v mikroregionu Horňácko
Svoboda, Michael
This bachelor thesis deals with a dendrological survey of selected tree stands near the municipalities of the Horňácko micro-region. In a total of five selected stands, which differ in length, width and species composition, it maps the distribution of trees and shrubs, their species and their health condition. It also categorizes the species as introduced or invasive. It evaluates the possibility of natural regeneration and the functionality of the stands as ÚSES biocorridors. Finally, it suggests how to manage the stands to preserve their functionality.
Leniency programme as a fair tool of EU competition law
Svoboda, Michael ; Šmejkal, Václav (advisor) ; Říha, Michal (referee)
Leniency programme as a fair tool of EU competition law Abstract This diploma thesis addresses the question whether the Commission's leniency programme respects the fundamental rights and principles protecting undertakings from abuse of power by the Commission, in other words whether the Commission's leniency programme is fair and proportionate. After a general introduction to the conditions of the Commission's leniency programme, the diploma thesis analyses the relationship of the leniency programme to the various fundamental rights and principles - namely the principle of legal certainty and legitimate expectations, the principle of equal treatment and the right to a fair trial. These particular rights and principles have been selected because they appear to be the most relevant with respect to the specifics of the leniency program. In relation to the principle of legal certainty and legitimate expectation, the focus is on the hypothetical application and marker application, the evidence required to obtain immunity, evidence with significant added value, the conditions of cooperation with the Commission, the timing of notification of the fulfilment of the conditions of the leniency programme, the level of reduction of the fine and the issue of multijurisdictional leniency applications. In relation to the...

"Studium světelných zdrojů pro in vitro kultivaci podnože ""Gisela 5"""
Svoboda, Michael
Final thesis was worked out on theme Study of light sources for in vitro cultivation of the rootstock Gisela 5. Experiment was conducted alternately on Mendeleum Institute of Genetics and Plant breeding, Faculty of Horticulture in Lednice and on Fosfa a.s. company in Břeclav. The aim of this thesis was to expand knowledge about light sources and their influence on in vitro plant cultivation. Based on this information and knowledge, an experiment was then made to investigate the impact of three different LED light sources on in vitro cultivation of the rootstock Gisela 5 in the phase of multiplication and rooting.
Využití světelných zdrojů při kultivaci rostlin v podmínkách in vitro
Svoboda, Michael
This work focuses on elaborating a research on different plant species representatives and their responses to various lighting conditions. Most tested was the influence of light spectrum and the use of new light sources. As the most suitable light source for future cultivation of plant components under in vitro conditions seems to be LED lighting due to possibility of light spectrum choice as well as its energy efficiency. The downside of this lighting system is its high cost, which will most likely decrease in the coming years. The choice of suitable light spectrum is individual because of the different requirements of the plants.
