Proposal for Change of Marketing Communication of a Selected Company
Svoboda, Jakub ; Schüller, David (referee) ; Mráček, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis deals with marketing communication of the retail company Cyklospaciality s.r.o., operating on a bicycle equipment market. The first part is focusing on theoretical knowledge of a marketing mix, especially communication with customers. The analytical part describes the company, its business situation and applies theoretical knowledge of marketing research to the current state of the company. The results are given as a recommendation for altering the communication mix.
Generalized Moran process
Svoboda, Jakub ; Šámal, Robert (advisor) ; Balko, Martin (referee)
The Moran process is a model for simulating evolutionary dynamics. In that model, one mutant with higher fitness is introduced to a structured population. Evolution is simulated in rounds. In one round, individual is selected proportio- nally to its fitness and spreads to the place of a random neighbour. In this thesis, we motivate the Moran process, present basic results, and define our variant. We work in a vertex dependent model; every individual has fitness according to its type and occupied vertex. In the vertex dependent model we prove two theorems about the number of steps the process has to make to get to the stable state. We show that on the complete graph, the process takes only polynomially many steps and we find a graph where the process take exponentially many steps, but in the normal settings the number of steps is the same as on the complete graph. 1
FUCK HARDER
Svoboda, Jakub ; JANOŠČÍK, Václav (advisor) ; Stejskalová, Tereza (referee)
The theme refers to contemporary world production of queer artists. The aim of this work is to illustrate, on the example of personal theory, a radical approach in the field of culture, to inform about new approaches in the field of art and to fluidly combine certain belongings. Content: theory, experience, interviews, artists, development, future Headline Chapters: Ghost in the 21st Century, Wickedness, Brand Queers, Great Army of People, New Base (Emancipation) Main artists: Jana Kratochvílová, Arca x Jessie Kanda, Anne Imhof, Tino Seghal, Bjork, Ryan Trecartin, Anohni Literature: Phillip Vannini - theory unrepresentative introduction: The theme of the thesis is based on personal experience. In 2016, I intuitively felt that artists working with thematic themes would start to harden in their approach and make the creation more radical. So I wrote in the bathroom on the mirror the statement FUCK HARDER IN 2K17. It turned out I was right, and indeed 2017 was a sign of radicalism in more directions - from visual art, video clips, music, pop culture to fashion photography. In my work I would like to concentrate on this subject and selected artist from all over the world. Understand your perception of this phenomenon over the current work of selected artists, and on the basis of this you can easily indicate the further development of these artists. The selection of artists will be key to the work and will be intuitive, complemented by interviews with artists. Intuition at work will be the next key to link everything you can imagine.
Study of single stranded DNA by biophysical techniques
Svoboda, Jakub ; Schneider, Bohdan (advisor) ; Novák, Petr (referee)
DNA is the fundamental functional molecule of all domains of life. One of its characteristics is the ability to self-associate to form a double stranded helix. Nevertheless, even single stranded DNA can form non-canonical structures such as hairpins, triplexes or tetraplexes. One of the interesting single stranded sequences are REP elements. These sequences form a part of bacterial transposable elements, so-called insertion sequences, which can be found in a great number of copies in wide range of bacterial species. This thesis studies structure and properties of selected REP sequences. It presents the results of spectral measurements by technique of circular dichroism, melting curves from differential scanning calorimetry, and monocrystal diffraction data. Key words Single-stranded DNA, crystallography, circular dichroism, calorimetry, transpozone, REP elements, insertion sequences.
Detector of the Human Head in Image
Svoboda, Jakub ; Orság, Filip (referee) ; Goldmann, Tomáš (advisor)
Detection of human head is an important part of person detection and identification algorithms. This thesis is focused on the detection of human head with methods based on neural networks. The majority the of conventional detectors can identify objects within a limited range of positions, whereas models based on neural networks offer a more robust approach. In this thesis we trained the current state-of-the-art models and compared their accuracy and speed. The most accurate model proved to be RetinaNet which has reached 85.15% AP. This detector can be used to improve current available algorithms for person detection, identification and tracking.
Positional games with efficient winning strategy
Svoboda, Jakub ; Šámal, Robert (advisor) ; Valla, Tomáš (referee)
We study games where two players are coloring edges of infinite complete graph. Both players are trying to create given target subgraph colored by their colors. Firstly, we will look at situation when the target subgraph is a complete graph. We will show that first player has winning strategy if the target subgraph is complete graph on at most three vertices. Then we will slightly change the rules. This will help us show that the first player has a winning strategy if he can bound the size of the complete graph on which the game is played or he can color a few edges more then the opponent. At the end we will discuss game, when a complete graph of a given size is a minor of target subgraph. We will show a winning strategy for the first player and for small size of complete graph which is the minor of target subgraph. We also will discuss, why the first player should have winning strategy for all games of this type. 1
Marketing concept for 1.ČLTK Prague
Svoboda, Jakub ; Voráček, Josef (advisor) ; Šíma, Jan (referee)
Title: Marketing concept for I. ČLTK Prague Objectives: The main objective of this work is to create a marketing concept for I. ČLTK Prague, which identifies current and future state of the organization, the organization's objectives and strategies to achieve them, defines marketing mix and determines how to implement and control set strategies. Methods: In my work I used a combination of qualitative and quantitative research. To define initial situation, I used the descriptive research, specifically the technique of observation. For further information on the situation I interviewed managers of the organization. For the evaluation of external factors I applied the STEP analysis. Quantitative research was represented by marketing research in the form of electronic and written questioning. For the formulation of strengths and weaknesses of the club, opportunities and threats I used the SWOT analysis, which I used also for competitors. Results: Within the thesis a marketing concept for I. ČLTK Prague was developed. Keywords: Marketing, marketing concept, marketing mix, marketing research, sponsorship.
