Cellular Automata Design Methods

This thesis addresses the problem of cellular automata design. A new method of Discrete neural cellular automaton, abbreviated DNCA, is proposed and implemented. The thesis thus deals with the problem of optimizing the transition function of the automaton using the Adam algorithm as well as a less traditional approach of differential evolution. The proposed model is successfully trained on more than ten behavior scenarios varying in difficulty.
Determining Stress Level from Heart Rate Monitoring

This thesis outlines the development of a prototype wearable embedded device intended for stress detection via physiological measurements utilizing an EKG sensor. Communication for the device is facilitated through Bluetooth LE. Accompanying the device is an algorithm designed to estimate stress levels locally based on collected heart rate variability data. Following a comparison of various methods, a multilayer perceptron was selected for stress detection. The proposed solution demonstrates an 85% accuracy rate in stress detection on WESAD dataset.
Embedded Wireless Monitoring and Control of Photovoltaic System

Na trhu s obnoviteľnými zdrojmi energie je veľká konkurencia. Najčastejšie sa v domácnostiach využívajú fotovoltaické systémy. Avšak aj napriek ich častému využitiu v domácnostiach im bežný používateľ nerozumie a ponecháva niektoré záležitosti spoločnosti, ktorá vykonáva inštaláciu. Táto bakalárska práca najprv čitateľa oboznámi s rôznymi komponentami, z ktorých fotovoltaický systém pozostáva. Neskôr popisujeme vytvorenie prototypu. Tento prototyp je univerzálnym riešením pre monitorovanie a riadenie výkonu akéhokoľvek fotovoltaického systému. Dosiahneme to meraním výkonu každého fotovoltaického panelu, s týmito údajmi môžeme diagnostikovať chybný panel a porovnaním celkového výkonu fotovoltaických panelov s výstupom meniča včas zistiť poruchu meniča. Pre prístup k údajom bola vytvorená jednoduchá webová aplikácia. Súčasný prototyp je schopný merať prechádzajúcu energiu a prepínať výstupnú energiu. V záverečnej časti práce popisujeme súčasné nedostatky prototypov a možné spôsoby ich zmiernenia, venujeme sa aj problémom, ktoré vznikli pri tvorbe prototypu a aj ich riešeniam.
Compatibility of NXP Microcontrollers with Arduino IDE

This thesis deals with the design of support for microcontrollers from NXP Semiconductors in the Arduino IDE development environment. The thesis analyses the individual elements of the Arduino IDE, its extension packages and individual configuration files. It also describes the MCUXpresso IDE environment and based on the analysis the package for supporting NXP microcontrollers is designed.
Digital Steganalysis

This bachelor thesis deals with the field of digital steganalysis and implementation of steganalysis tool. It contains a summary of several existing tools and methods. It describes in detail LSB and PVD methods used for image steganography. It also describes steganalysis methods Chi-Square, PDH and RS analysis. The thesis includes introduction of steganalysis method SameColor. This method is based on the analysis of the length of sequences of pixels that follow each other in an image without changing the bits used for steganographic insertion of data by the LSB method. This method is effective in detecting steganograms created from cover images in the form of digital icons and symbols, where it achieves more than 95% success in classifying the analyzed images. As part of the work, a script was created for automated generation of the data set using the PVD method implemented in the xStego tool and an auxiliary script to evaluate success in classifying the analyzed files. The Chi-Square, PDH and SameColor methods were successfully implemented in the steganalysis tool in Python and their reliability in detecting steganograms was evaluated.
Test Automation of Web Applications

The aim of this thesis is to investigate tools for web application testing automation and to compare them with each other. The tested tools include Selenium, Katalon Studio and Playwright. The tests were created as part of a behaviour-driven development process and used to automate the testing of the information system of Optimal-Energy.cz, a.s. Based on the created solutions, a suitable tool for further testing of the company's system was selected. The results of this thesis allow to compare the possibilities of each tool and may help in the selection of a suitable automation tool. The created solution facilitated the process of testing the selected web application.
Embedded Control of Non-Contacting Waveguide Sliding Short

Táto práca sa zaoberá návrhom a implementáciou softwarového riadiacého systému pre bezkontaktný nastaviteľný vlnovodový skrat použitím krokového motoru. Predstavuje návrh systému ktorý podporuje implementáciu ľubovolného komunikačného protokolu, a ktorý môže byť použitý s ľubovoľným krokovým motorom. Predstavený návrh bol implementovaný na mikrokontroléry Texas Instrument AM243x Sitara, využitím operačného systému reálneho času FreeRTOS. Systém podporuje komunikáciu cez automatizačný protokol EtherNet/IP, a cez prispôsobený seriový textový protokol využívajúci UART. Systém bol testovaný a vyhodnotený pomocou testou presnosti pozície, reprodukovatelnosti pozície a testom fázového posunu odrazenej vlny.
Multi-Platform Tool for Generation of Technical Documentation from XML

This bachelor's thesis deals with the challenge in the field of technical documentation of development environments and explores the possibilities of automated generation of documentation from structured XML data. The problem lies in the need for efficient creation and maintenance of technical project documentation through an automated process. The goal of the work is to design, implement and evaluate a multi-platform tool that will be able to generate technical documentation from XML inputs with an emphasis on practical usability in real projects. The work is useful for developers who are involved in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation of development environments. It provides a specific tool that can streamline the documentation generation process and improve the readability of documentation within projects using the XML format for storing information.
Schedulability Analysis of Real-Time Tasks under Uncertainty

The goal of this bachelor’s thesis is to familiarize with real-time systems, uncertainties and scheduling mechanisms related to these systems, statistical model checking, as well as the design and implementation of an approach to schedulability analysis under uncertainties, creating suitable sets of real-time tasks, and verifying their schedulability using the approach. I have mainly incorporated uncertainties caused by system interruptions and undeterministic task parameters. To address the given problem, I created a set of tasks, incorporated uncertainties into the system, and analyzed the schedulability of the tasks. The system modeling and analysis were conducted using the UPPAAL SMC tool, and, for comparison, also using the Cheddar tool with selected sets of tasks.
Wireless Rotary Head for Scanning Internal Surfaces

The purpose of this project is to create wireless rotary head for scanning internal surfaces. Which includes design and implementation of device with static and rotary parts. The two parts communicate wirelessly and the rotary part is also wirelessly charged. That enables continuous rotation and measurment. Another part of project is data collection from sensors and communication between parts of the device and also with external world. Focus is given to wireless communication using IR light, wireless power transfer and control of stepper motor. Project describes technologies and principles on which it is based, design and implementation of hardware and software, presentation of achieved results.
