Perovskite Photovoltaic Cell With 72% Conversion Efficiency
Strachala, Dávid ; Hylský, Josef ; Kadlec, Michal
The main purpose of the work is to find an optimal way for the preparation of the perovskite photovoltaic cell with high conversion efficiency. An active perovskite layer is form as CH3NH3PbI3-2Cl2. In total has been created six solar cells. Conversion efficiency of best sample 1 has reached ηMAX = 7. 22 %. Samples were further analyzed and based on that were implemented other techniques for their improvement.
Development Of Stable Perovskite Cells
Strachala, Dávid ; Kratochvíl, Matouš ; Hylský, Josef
The main purpose of the work is to find an optimal way for the preparation of stable perovskite photovoltaic cell. Ten solar cells have been created with the active area consisting of CH3NH3PbI3 and CH3NH3PbI3-2Cl2 solutions. It was concluded that the CH3NH3PbI3-2Cl2 structure is more stable against environmental influences because of chlorine addition. Supplementary experiments were done to confirm the moisture influence. During the research has been found that films formed in humidity with 15 % RH have a different structure than perovskite manufactured in dry glove boxes filled with nitrogen atmosphere. We are concluding that perovskite grains have unified and their volume has increased. These processes have had a positive impact on the efficiency and stability of the cells.
The Effect Of Pid On Photovoltaic Cells
Strachala, Dávid ; Hylský, Josef
This work deals with the Potential-Induced Degradation (PID) of the silicon photovoltaic modules and cells (PID shortly). The cause of PID degradation is in a migration of positive sodium ions from the protective glass, which was confirmed by the electroluminiscence measurements. The sodium drifts was locally supported by the increasing of the PV module temperature up to 80 °C. Based on the observation, a modification of the photovoltaic structure was added. The new solar cells shows good resisitive properties against PID.
Organic-Inorganic Hybrid Solar Cells
Strachala, David ; Hylský, Josef ; Kadlec, Michal
The purpose of the presented work is to find an optimal way for the preparation of the organic-inorganic hybrid solar cells based on perovskite structure CH3NH3PbI3-2Cl2 /PC61BM. The main idea of the work is to create an eight solar cell samples with the highest possible conversion efficiency and stable structure. Conversion efficiency of created samples reached approximately ηMAX = 2, 5 %. Samples were futher analyzed and based on that were implemented other techniques for their improvement.
Deposition of thin metal layers by vacuum magnetron sputtering device
Rogozhnikova, Mariia ; Hylský, Josef (referee) ; Strachala, Dávid (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is focused on description of magnetron sputtering device NP 12 for the thin metal layers forming. In this work is mentioned the issue of metal layers, is given an overview of the methods of their forming and description of magnetron sputtering. Practical part of this thesis describes creation of the NP 12 sputtering device controlling instructions and creation of ten working samples. Copper, aluminum, and titanium layers were sputtered on a glass and silicon substrate bases. An appropriate processing parameters have been defined experimentally. The conclusion of this final work gives analyzes of surface flatness and purity of the sputtered layers using AFM and SEM measurements methods.
Analysis of PID measurement of degradation of silicon PV modules
Baklík, Radim ; Strachala, Dávid (referee) ; Hylský, Josef (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with crystalline solar modules i relation to PID phenomenon. The thesis focuses on methods of investigation of changing electrical parameters, in the course of PID degradation, such as prallel resistance and leakage current. The effect of degradation will be examined by V-A characteristics and by electroluminiscence method.
Characterization of the perovskit photovoltaic cells
Dvořák, Tomáš ; Strachala, Dávid (referee) ; Novák, Vítězslav (advisor)
The thesis discusses the problematics of perovskite solar cells. The introduction deals with the history of the solar cells as the next part is dedicated to generations of them as well as to their principle and the variables measured in photovoltaic cells. The next part deals with perovskites, their properties and structure. Later the part about perovskite solar cells follows. The last part is dedicated to experiments which were executed on samples of perovskite solar cells.
