Word order in Latin noun phrases with comparative and superlative adjectives

The bachelor's thesis deals with the word order of noun phrases with comparative and superlative adjectives in classical Latin prose. Firstly, it summarizes the main approaches to Latin constituent order. Subsequently, the nominal phrase and its constituents are treated. Afterwards, the work focuses on the internal ordering of noun phrases, mainly with adjectives, by means of pragmatic and semantic factors as described in the monographies of Olga Spevak. The functions of adjective grades are also discussed. The empirical part of the thesis focuses on the analysis of attributive adjectives in the comparative and superlative form as used in Cicero's De officiis ("On Duties"). The adjectives analysed are divided into three categories according to their position relative to the head noun and their pragmatic independence. Consequently, the last part deals with the word order rules of the adjectives excerpted and the factors which influence their position.

The development of agricultural land in the cadastral municipality Chodouň

The thesis is focused on the historical development of the agricultural landscape in the cadastral municipality Chodouň that is related to the analysis of macrostructure and microstructure of the landscape. An important output of the script and further development of the area in the future. This work compares and analyzes the changes of agricultural land for a period of about 200 years. A targeted analysis of landscape changes were used cadastral maps, orthophoto maps from the 50s of the 20th century, contemporary orthophoto maps indigenous ownership and maps made landscaping. Map data were processed and assembled in the program ArcGIS ArcMap-10.03 The results show major structural changes in the agricultural landscape. The work points to a significant increase in soil units, canceling field trips and yield a significant increase in development. The results can be used in the future to the proper management of the landscape.

This Diploma thesis deals with the impact of potential implementation of the new IFRS exposure draft on leases, mainly from the lessor sight. The theoretical part discusses the current approach to the reporting of leases under IFRS, the new publication of the proposal in this area in 2010 and revised in 2013. In the practical part presents a comparison of approaches and evaluate the impact on the financial situation of the lessor.

Actors stylization and authenticity

In this diploma thesis, a student of dramatic arts focuses on the meaning of the terms stylization and authenticity, on the analysis and usage of these terms in practices in the course of the creative process, which she proves by various examples of rehearsing during the graduation season in Disk Theatre, in particular by examples from the Lenka Lagronova?s play ?Království?. Next chapter is devoted to the experience of the student of dramatic arts while appearing as a guest in various professional theatres. It covers a description of a creative process and a process of searching the tools which help the actor to create an interesting character and also the circumstances which influence the actor?s performance. The excessive dependence of actors? growth on inspiring opportunities leads the author even to doubts about the rectitude of her decision to become an actress. The author feels that the intensive team work under a talented director which she has experienced in Disk Theatre and in Činoherní klub is the ideal way of self fulfillment which she searches for in the theatre. The author is aware of the advantages of an engagement in a stable theatre stage but on the other hand she does not hide her fear for the accommodation to the averageness and fear for giving up any higher art ambition. These are the questions for which the author searches the answers in the following thesis.
