Development of the urban toponymic system in Český Krumlov
Staňková, Kateřina ; Štěpán, Pavel (advisor) ; Dittmann, Robert (referee)
This bachelor thesis explores the development of the urban toponymic system in Český Krumlov. The thesis contains a corpus of urbanonyms of the city, which is analysed from several points of view: semantic motivation, the form of names and the relation between the German and Czech language. The thesis also deals with the phenomenon of urbanonymic subsystems. Particular names are studied in their development from the beginning of the twentieth century up to the present.
Physical activity and structure of the personality of women with sedentary occupation
STAŇKOVÁ, Kateřina
: At present, the lack of physical activity and factors called biosocial correlates are a frequent topic. The female gender is considered one of a negative bisocial correlates so we might expect that men are more active than women. The aim of this work is to realize if personality traits of women affect the amount of their physical activity. A total of fifty women in the age range of 22 to 64 years, having a sedentary work, took part in this survey. These women were writting down their daily physical activity, measured by pedometer Yamax Digiwalker SW-700. This measurement was carried out in two week-long periods on April and October 2019. To examine their personality traits it was used the Big five NEO Personality Inventory, where the results were statistically processed and evaluated under supervision of a psychologist. It has been realized that women who are more extroverted meet the daily 10.000 step goal, but only on weeksdays, so we might consider it a significant positive correlates of physical activity. Women with a hight level of conscientiousness do not meet the physical activity goal. In comparison with women who lack the dominance of trait of conscientiousness, the women with dominance of this trait have lower level of physical activity.Considerating all the findings mentioned above, we might come to a conclusion that the physical activity of women who have a sedentary work does not change.
Dog and cat endoparasitic diseases and their therapy
Staňková, Kateřina ; Ducháček, Lubomír (advisor) ; Lamka, Jiří (referee)
This diploma thesis is engaged in endoparasite of cats and dogs and in their therapy. Diploma thesis specialize in endoparasite occuring in our country averse them we have registered medicine. I describe aetiopathogenesis, symptomatology, diagnosis and therapy of each parasite. Therapy is described more detailed in separate chapter as well as particular pharmaceutical form and their aplication. In The Czech Republic we have sufficient quantum of treatment in heterogeneous pharmaceutical form for treatment endoparasite od cats and dogs.
Algoritmic applications of finite Markov chains

Title: Algorithmic applications of finite Markov chains Author: Petra Pavlačková Department: Department of Probability and Mathematical Statistics Supervisor: RNDr. Michaela Prokešová, Ph.D. Supervisor's e-mail address: prokesov@karlin.mff.cuni.cz In the present work we study MCMC algorithms, that we use for simulating from probability distributions on finite set of states. We apply these algorithms to two models: hard-core model and q-coloring of a graph. In this work we use the theory of stochastic processes, mainly of Markov chains and their properties. Furhter we analyze some problems, which may occur during the simulation, particularly we focus on convergence of the marginal distribution of the Markov chain to the stationary distribution. The last part of the work is a numeric illustration of the Gibbs sampler which we use in order to estimate the mean value of the number of 1 in a generalized hard-core model. Keywords: Markov chain, MCMC algorithm, hard-core model, speed of convergence

Quarter life crisis
STAŇKOVÁ, Kateřina
The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of Quarter-life crisis. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with key topics focused on crisis, issues of Emerging Adulthood and developmental aspects of young adulthood. The empirical part includes a description of the research group, methodological specifics, research objectives and research questions. The research group consisted of 9 informants concerned with the issue. Qualitative research was used to provide research data, namely semi-structured and unstructured in-depth interviews. Using card unloading techniques, individual thematic categories and research results were presented and explained. All information obtained was compared with the information and knowledge provided by the experts and the information collected in the theoretical part of the research in the final phase. The aim of the thesis was to comprehensively map out the problems of crises and negative experiences of people at the age of 19-32 years. The partial objectives of the research were to find out the perceived causes of the emergence of these crises, the psychological problems accompanying the crisis and the strategies that effectively helped to overcome them. The research results point to a broad spectrum of simultaneous causes of the emergence of crises in this age group. These have both developmental and social and period specificities. Crises are accompanied by feelings of lack of meaning and problems of anxiety and depression. Contact with nature, physical activity, supportive social factors and self-realization have proved to be effective in overcoming the crises and problems associated with them.
