Innovation Factors Influencing the Growth of Small and Medium-Sized Emterprises

Disertation work deals with innovative factors influencing the growth of small and medium enterprises. In this work are two main objectives related to the topic of work. The first one is definition of innovation activity on the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises in the South Moravian Region and the second one is analyzing the determinants of determining the internal environment of a company seeking to generate innovation podiku. Objectives and hypotheses were established on the basis of the literature search, with emphasis not only on business growth, but also on innovation. Primary research combines the use of qualitative and quantitative methods. The results obtained from statistical analyzes of primary research are presented in partial and general conclusion. This work consists methodological steps for small and medium-sized enterprises with an interest in growing their businesses. For a comprehensive view the work offers the disertatiton work the possibility of further expansion of research and outline the benefits of the individual spheres of professional life

Business practices behind running a restaurant

This bachelor thesis aims to investigate and map the business practices behind running a typical successful restaurant and to build a financial model based on the findings. Then it verifies whether the model would remain profitable assuming all the business practices are in line with the law and it is investigated how would the initial conditions have to change in order to maintain the original profitability, still being in line with the law at the same time. The theoretical part describes how is the profit and loss model built and mentions the law relevant to the financial aspects of running a restaurant. Finaly a few short suggestions how to improve profitability is formed.
Comparison of e-auction and direct sale of apartments

The main aim of the thesis is the comparison of the e-auction and the direct sale of apartments and to find answers to the research questions: Does the way of sale affect the price of the apartment? Are the prices higher in e-auction than in direct sales? In the theoretical part, the issue of auctions and direct sales is described and the development on the Czech real estate market is outlined. Analytical part analyzes data from e-auction and direct sale of apartements, and research questions are answered.

Firstly, the aim of this Bachelors thesis is to create a business plan for unification of Vietnamese minimarkets in the Czech Republic by a web application. The goal of the unification is to create a shopping union and then a retail chain. Secondly, it is necessary to define conditions for successful realization and to answer research questions. After the introduction, two main parts of the work follow. The theoretical part deals with the definition of basic concepts in the business, the key legal forms of the company and all the necessary points which are needed for making a business plan. The second part is a practical application of theoretical knowledge and contains a real business plan to create a locator of Vietnamese minimarkets. In the business plan, the main focus is on the creation of a viable business, a description of the business opportunities, the objectives of the company and the owners, the company strategy, the market analysis, the marketing strategy, the implementation plan, the identification of the risks, etc. The ending of the Bachelors thesis contains answers to the research questions and summarizes the conditions of the successful realization of the business.

In practical part concrete plan will be settled which shows up every necessary steps to needed to get through while realization and outlines the various ideas and solutions to achieve good economic results of the organization. The author of this Masters Thesis deepens the knowledge of the preparation of business plans and complex view of critical sections of the analysis and indicators of project that will be implemented in the future.

The purpose of this thesis is to demonstrate the creation of a company business plan focused on mediating temporary jobs through the use of mobile applications and websites. Furthermore the thesis articulates, how the business plan serves to assess the project´s feasibility and evaluate the return on investment. The theoretical part describes the characteristics of the business as well as the methods of creating a business plan. In the practical part these discoveries are applied to the formation of a business plan. The paper will give a brief introduction of the company followed by a description of the business opportunities, company goals, market potential, competition analysis, market strategy, implementation plan, constructing a financial plan, return on investment calculations, and establishing conditions for success. The conclusion is devoted to an overall assessment of the business plan.
Succession in Czech family owned businesses

The intention of this thesis is to analyse case studies and identify factors of successful succession in Czech family owned businesses (FOB). The work is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the subject and objective of my thesis. Second one deals with theoretical background of entrepreneurship, history of entrepreneurship in Czech Republic and last but not least with theoretical background of FOB. The third chapter is an analysis of researches about succession in FOB made in Czech Republic and also in other parts of world. The business plan for SnackBag company and its expansion into the foreign markets

The aim of this thesis is to create a business plan for the newly established business subject in the health food industry and evaluate the viability of the plan. The plan also includes the choice of the appropriate form of potential expansion into the foreign market. This thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. To create this business plan, firstly it was necessary to write down the complex theoretical framework of the basic aspects which are crucial for small and medium businesses. Secondly, it was needed to sum up the general principles of creating a business plan, characterise its structure and mention the most common mistakes and problems that entrepreneurs may encounter. The theoretical part is concluded by a description of the appropriate forms of expansion for small and medium businesses. Based on this theoretical framework the business plan for the company SnackBag was created with the emphasis on the project´s financial calculation. The calculations confirm the business plan as viable. Analysis of the main advantages and disadvantages of particular forms of expansion to foreign markets concludes that the franchise was evaluated as the most suitable for SnackBag.
The business models of IT startups based on sharing economy

The aim of this master thesis is to analyze the present condition of sharing economy and design a critical success factors model on a IT startups which operate as a transportation network companies. The result is finally validated on few representative businesses. The problem is solved by the modified qualitative critical success factors method whose author is John F. Rockart. The gained factors were finally used in the causal model which is based on the principles of system dynamics. The outcomes of this thesis are enabling to understand the relations which are hidden behind success of transportation network companies in the area of sharing economy. The information can be useful not only for startups but also for academic sphere and possible investors.
