Comparison czech ODS and german CDU

The topic of my diploma thesis involves comparison between the largest Czech right-wing political party, the Civic Democratic Party (ODS), and the largest German conservative general political party, the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) which, together with the Christian Social Union (CSU) comprises a faction (CDU/CSU) at the federal level. The major objective of the thesis is an analysis of development and programmatics of both political parties and subsequent comparison thereof, I.e. identification of any common, similar and different characteristic features. The thesis is divided into four chapters. Chapter One deals with the theory of political parties, more strictly with the very concept of political party and its formation, its definitions, how it is divided, what roles it plays and what types of political parties there exist. Chapter Two is devoted to the Civic Democratic Party. I describe its formation, subsequent development and, finally, its programmatics. The individual objectives or principles are clearly shown on specific items of the political programme of 1995 and the current election programme "Jointly for Beller Life" of 2006. This work is focused on Burnout Syndrome among employees and self-employed / en-trepreneurs in public and private sector. There is a comparison of obtained data via online survey which was established based on Maslach Burnout Inventory. The goal is to examine the differences between employees and self-employed / entrepreneurs working in both public and private sector. The work consists of analysis, interpretation of results and discussion together with suggestions.

Coaching as a tool to prevent burnout in social services

The bachelor thesis introduces coaching as a tool to prevent burnout syndrome in social services. The theoretical part informs about all the basic areas of this issue. In particular, it describes the burnout syndrome, its area of origin, as well as treatment and other possible ways of preventing the syndrome. It interpret the problematics of coaching, its goals, tools and use in the working sphere. Part of thesis, which deals with social services will introduce this term in more details and will explain the terms as founder, social service inspector, quality of service and social worker. The practical part is carried out in the form of a questionnaire survey of the relevant workers in social services in the district of Jindřichův Hradec. The purpose of this research is to find out if the organizations in question know about this possibility of preventing burnout syndrome or to get other examples directly from practice on how to prevent the syndrome.

Expressiveness in the contemporary newspapers

The diploma thesis deals with the application of expressivity in contemporary journalistic texts, concretely in the daily broadsheet Mladá fronta DNES and the tabloid Blesk. The aim is to identify the means of expressivity and find out to what extent they occur in the above mentioned dailies. At the same time we want to point out that by using means of expressivity there is a similarity between the two dailies. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical and deals with the theoretical knowledge which relates to the issue. The main attention is given to the practical part. It is the analysis of means of expressivity of selected texts at all language levels. The thesis also follows up the thematic and graphical aspect of the two dailies and the extent of their texts.

Fiscal rules at the sub-national government level

This diploma thesis deals with fiscal rules at the sub-national government level. The main goal is to make an analysis of the evolution and current situation of fiscal rules at the sub-national government level and to make the systematic classification of fiscal rules parameters and their choice in the EU member countries. The literary overview includes the introduction into the topic of fiscal rules and explains the connection between short-terms and long-terms goals of public finances and motives for the implementation of fiscal rules. There is also presented their typology. The next important part of this theme is the fiscal decentralization, which is also introduced here. This part is concluded by the overview of studies, which examine and evaluate the strength and effectiveness of fiscal rules at sub-national government level. The part of solutions and results includes the descriptive analysis of evolution and current situation of fiscal rules in EU member countries (EU-27) with the focus on local and regional sub-national government level. Then some selected parameters (share of sub-national public debt to GDP, fiscal decentralization, fiscal autonomy and (non)membership of EU member countries in the Eurozone) are compared with the number of implemented fiscal rules at the sub-national government level and in some cases with the fiscal rule strength index to prove or refute the set hypotheses. The hypotheses which are formulated in the methodology of this thesis are not proved by the correlation and by the main graphs. But there are some examples supporting these hypotheses.

The bachelor thesis deals with the communication on the Internet Forums. The aim is firstly to prove through the language analysis of discussions that this type of electronic communication has features of spoken and written language and secondly to write down the features of written texts which the texts of this type maintain. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical and deals with theoretical knowledge which relates to the issue. The main attention is given to the practical part. It is the analysis of linguistic means of particular discussions at all language levels. The thesis also follows up the spelling and the subject of discussions.

Práce podává základní přehled problematiky ochrany osobních údajů, zejména jejich získávání, zpracování a uchovávání v policejní praxi. Nezbytná část je věnována i způsobu jejich ochrany. Seznamuje proto se základními pojmy, významem ochrany osobních údajů a s právními předpisy, včetně interních norem Policie ČR vydaných k jejich aplikaci. Je určena i pro základní orientaci příslušníků a zaměstnanců Policie ČR v dané problematice.
