This work is focused on comparison of platforms constructions used in railway network SŽDC, ŽSR, eventually other neighboring countries. The aim is to compare the platforms in terms of complexity construction, maintenance, structural stability, material demands, costs, possibiliti of track maintainance, possibility of out-of-gauge loads pass (necessary adjustments platforms), access for persons with reduced mobility and orientation. There are drawings of different type sof platform cross sections in this bachelors thesis. The aim is to recommend the most appropriate design or platform position with respekt to the above requirements.

The Kamchatka Peninsula - Wonders of Wildlife

Topic of the bachelor thesis is peninsula of Kamchatka on the Russian east. That is interesting and unusual part of Russian federation. In first part of the thesis we look at history of the Kamchatka. It starts from 14th century B.C. from first mentions about settlement. Next part of the thesis is about Kamchatka as part of Russian federation and about composition of the population. Other parts of the thesis are about untypical nature formed from mountains, vulcanoes, valleys, rivers, lakes, taiga, polar tundra, meadows, pastures and forests. Attention is focused on animals too. There are the biggest concentration of brown bears on the world and the biggest spawning ground of salmons in Euroasia.
