RPG as a narrative medium

This bachelor's thesis deals with narrative in video games, specifically in RPGs and its "hybrids". Theoretical part presents selected concepts of game studies and narratology, which are used as a base for a possible method of analysis in the practical part of this paper. This method is demonstrated using four examples to form four short case studies.

Ve své práci se zaměřují především na postižení změn funkcí a cílů výtvarné výchovy, jak se projevují v každodenní praxi. Snažím se zachytit dynamiku procesu komunikace a poznávání v jednotlivých vyučovacích hodinách či v rámci tematických celků, které, ač nejsou explicitně definovány v žádném z dokumentů školního kurikula, jeví se jako podstatné pro výchovně vzdělávací obsah výtvarné výchovy. Zaměřuji se především na otázky týkající se vzájemného dorozumění a z něj vyplývající věrohodnosti týkající se předávaných hodnot a stanovisek. Jedná se především o dynamiku postupné orientace studentů v oblasti vnímání, uvědomování si a vytváření symbolických významů. Zaměřuji se na způsoby rozvíjení dovedností rozpoznávat kulturně, historicky, sociálně i individuálně podmíněné významové struktury, v jejichž rámci chápeme, reflektujeme a posuzujeme nejen díla výtvarného umění a produkty své vlastní tvůrčí činnosti, ale také svoje úsudky, výroky a postoje k nim vztažené. Má práce je tvořena třemi vzájemně propojenými a úzce souvisejícími obsahovými celky. První je věnován reflektivnímu dialogu jako základní metodě komunikace a vzdělávání a výchovy v hodinách. Piano Works of Klement Slavický

The dissertation Piano works of Klement Slavický introduces a topic which has not been elaborated until now. Klement Slavický (1910 - 1999) was one the most significant Czech composers of the 20th century and his piano works substantially enriched the literature of the instrument. His piano works can be divided into two categories: the first consists of concert pieces, and the second of instructive pieces. The theme of the composer's piano works is introduced in the biography, where the author deals with life and work of Klement Slavický with special emphasis on his piano opuses. The chapter is loaded with historical data and information. The topic of the dissertation is thus set within a wider context essential for deeper insight into the research topic. The part devoted to concert works of Klement Slavický deals with the circumstances and the processes whence his works originate and, subsequently, with their paths to interpreters and listeners. It brings a detailed compositional and interpretational analyses enriched by the author's own experience on concert stages and in recording studios. The composer's instructive opuses are analysed in terms of the educative and hermcneutic approaches. The dissertation thesis deals with the impact of means of art (dance and fine art) on the pesonality development of mentally handicapped adults. The topič is developed on both theoretical and practical levels. The thesis describes the philosophical and social science basis of this approach and lists research projects dealing with art therapy and dance therapy for mentally handicapped People. The work includes practical and theoretical aspects of art therapy and dance therapy in a broader context.
