Design of Carpet Extractor
Tupá, Anna ; Surman, Martin (referee) ; Sládek, Josef (advisor)
The topic of this master thesis is the design of a carpet cleaning machine. The main motivation for this thesis was the increasing demand for carpet cleaners in the last three years and the lack of supply in the field of wireless solutions. The thesis is based on the current state of knowledge and research conducted. Based on the knowledge gained, the ergonomic quality of the product was improved and a more user-friendly cordless machine was developed. Particular emphasis was placed on the ease of handling of the individual components and simplification of all activities related to carpet cleaning. An important element of the design is the overall shape of the housing, chassis and recovery container, which increases the clarity and aesthetic value of the machine. Storage compartments have also been designed for the machine to allow the transport of small items and accessories. The resulting product finds its application with cleaners who concentrate on cleaning medium to large carpeted areas between 250 and 1000 m
Design of Aquabike
Gettová, Barbora ; Blaha, Tomáš (referee) ; Sládek, Josef (advisor)
Osteoarthritis is an increasingly common disease in the global population, as is the problem of obesity or other diseases that are not easy to treat. However, an alternative form of treatment is hydrotherapy, through exercise on an aquabike, which provides many benefits due to the water environment. However, current aquabikes lack a user-friendly and practical design that takes into account the target user group and the environment for which it is intended. Therefore, the thesis deals with the design of an aquabike designed for group exercise and rehabilitation in swimming pools, bathing pools or rehabilitation centres. It focuses on the solution of storability, ease of use, handling of the product while respecting ergonomic and technical requirements. In general, the design is also aimed at enhancing the aesthetics and modernising the product.
Design of Oxygen Concentrator
Korábová, Anežka ; Paliatka, Peter (referee) ; Sládek, Josef (advisor)
The topic of the diploma thesis is the design of an oxygen concentrator. The aim is to design an oxygen concentrator for two people with a primary focus on the hospital environment. The design is based on extensive design and technical research and user analysis. The design is distinguished by the orientation of the handling elements respecting the target environment as well as partial ergonomic aspects. The design is compact and elegant yet incorporates interesting form elements such as dynamic bevels or tension of the front surface. The main contribution of the design is an increase in aesthetic quality compared to competitors and an ergonomically innovative approach.
Design of Autorefractometer
Kazlouskaya, Anastasiya ; Sládek, Josef (referee) ; Rubínová, Dana (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor's thesis is the design of a portable autorefractometer intended for preventive screening of amblyopia and refractive errors in young children. The goal is to create a well-balanced portable autorefractometer with a comfortable and properly positioned handle that will have a modern, pleasant and playful design. The work is based on the current state of knowledge and was created with ergonomic and technical requirements in mind.
Design of Portable Fluorescence Immunoassay Analyzer
Filková, Adriana ; Sládek, Josef (referee) ; Fridrichová, Eva (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor's thesis is a design of a portable fluorescence immunological analyzer for laboratory and healthcare facilities. The main requirements encompassed durability, ergonomics, and easy sample manipulation. Based on technical and design analysis, a custom design was developed, incorporating a stand for holding a testing mico tube, automatic slot opening, a touchscreen display, and an on/off button. The lateral sides of the product are ergonomically rounded and feature anti-slip grooving. To enhance durability, the touchscreen display is recessed into the top surface of the analyzer. The design of the resulting proposal is non-intrusive and meets the environmental conditions for which it is intended.
Design of DLP/SLA 3D Printer
Drcmánek, Filip ; Křenek, Ladislav (referee) ; Sládek, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is dedicated to the design of a DLP 3D printer. The main objective of the thesis is to design a DLP 3D printer that is going to emphasize safety, ergonomics, and user-friendliness. The design is based on the conducted analyses, thanks to which were discovered possible shortcomings of existing DLP 3D printers. These shortcomings create room for innovations, which have been made mainly in sub-elements of the design. Part of the final design includes elements that will simplify the handling of finished prints and increase safety when handling the device. The design also respects ergonomic requirements and the dimensions of the human body. The designed product can find application in the production of prototypes, in dentistry, jewellery and last but not least for hobby users.
Design of Massage Gun
Pechová, Tereza ; Haltof, Vladimír (referee) ; Sládek, Josef (advisor)
The task of the bachelor thesis was to design a cordless massage gun with interchangeable vibration attachments, which will have adjustable shock intensity and speed control. The main objective was to design an ergonomically suitable handle for multiple grip options. The resulting shape was derived from a previous market analysis of current products, both in design and technical terms, to meet the ergonomic requirements associated with this product. At the same time, I focused on ease of use.
Design of Multi-functional Component for Minibus
Kárych, Tomáš ; Křenek, Ladislav (referee) ; Sládek, Josef (advisor)
This work deals with the issue of ventilation by the rear window of the fifth door in minibuses converted into motorhomes. The goal is to design a component that extends the eye of the window lock of the fifth door and allows regulation of the ventilation gap while maintaining the functionality of the locking system. Furthermore, implementation of a multifunctional tool that will help in unexpected situations and will serve as an advertising and gift item. The solution must meet the criteria of manufacturability, functionality, aesthetics and feasibility in relation to the market size. The final product consists of a component, a multifunctional tool and a case that meets the initial goals and solved the problems that arose during the design. An aesthetically pleasing design was created with regard to small-scale production, sustainability and usability of the customer target group. The work discusses the process of an unconventional combination of products and a comprehensive solution to a very specific problem with a large number of smaller goals.
Design of Hot Melt Glue Gun
Kopkášová, Katarína ; Rubínová, Dana (referee) ; Sládek, Josef (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor thesis is the design of a hot melt glue gun. The aim is to design an innovative, functional and practical melting gun. Based on design and technical analysis, a product is designed that meets aesthetic, ergonomic and technical aspects. Emphasis is also placed on ease of use and intuitiveness, safety, cleanliness and accuracy of work and on ecology, which is very important at this time.
Design of VTOL Aircraft
Šnajdr, Petr ; Sládek, Josef (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with a conceptual vision of VTOL aircraft design as a possible future mode of transportation. The thesis includes an analysis of currently developed machines in this category as well as a brief technical overview of the aircraft. The aim of the thesis is the design concept of a VTOL aircraft for low emission mass passenger transport. The proposed aircraft has a blended-wing configuration with a capacity of 16 passengers. The environmentally friendly fuel for emission-free operation is hydrogen gas providing a range of over 2000 km. The innovative solution of incorporating a jet propulsion system into the aircraft's construction results in a clean shape with the form of one large wing that gives the aircraft a futuristic aerodynamic appearance. Another interesting solution is the boarding of the aircraft in the form of large doors on the sides of the aircraft, which allows for a reduction in the size and thus drag of the aircraft. The resulting design not only delivers a sleek, futuristically shaped aircraft, but also the way of the vertical take-off and landing together with proposed boarding, may inspire future generations of aircraft.
