Professional development of human resources in selected organisation

This diploma thesis focuses on the professional development of HR Officers in a selected organization. The main goal is to find out and describe the approach of HR Officers in the selected organization to their own professional development. The presented work is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part, areas and terms related to the researched issue are defined. The first chapter deals with the field of personnel studies. Specifically, it is dedicated to HR Officers, their roles, HR activities, competencies and opportunities for further professional education. The second chapter focuses on the area of employee education and development. It deals with corporate education, systematic education, methods of education and development, and motivation and barriers in the further education of adults. The practical part of the thesis is devoted to the description of the methodology of the research investigation. For the purposes of the diploma thesis, a qualitative method was chosen, and a case study was chosen as the research design.
