This thesis deals with usage of metal materials in bone implats creation process. This work also includes information about structure and attributes of bones, body fluids and content of iron in human organism. Following part of the paper deals with osteosynthesis, therefore commonly used methods of treating bone defects. Next part of this bachelor’s thesis is discussing the issue of biomaterials, biocompatibility and biodegradability of metal materials. Sample preparion procedure and description of samples, electrochemical corrosion and microscopic observation is included altogether with a pictorial documentation at the last chapters of this paper.
Materials for lithium -ions accumulators with higher safety
Divílek, Petr ; Libich, Jiří (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of carbon usage in negative material of lithium-ion batteries, with their structure, preparation and also by testing of their capacity and fire safety. The aim of this thesis is to test fire safety of negative material from selected kinds of graphite and carbon.
Properties of carbon materials for supercapacitors
Štorek, Ondřej ; Dvořák, Petr (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
The Master’s Thesis deals with supercapacitators based on principle of eletrical double layer. At the outset there is an explanation of supercapacitor working principal. We discussed advantages and disavantages supercapacitators compared with other related elements in electrotechnics. Materials based on carbon and their structure for production supercapacitators are described too. In next part of Thesis we mention different methods and techniques for the measurement and the evaluation of supercapacitators‘s capacities. Optimal materials for production supercapacitators are presented in conclusion.
Gel polymer electrolytes with nanoparticulars Al2O3
Procházka, Jaroslav ; Krejza, Ondřej (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
This work deals with electrolytic conductivity of gel polymer electrolytes. In the theoretical part of the work the methacrylates, the polymerization and the basic outlines of gel polymer electrolytes conductivity are described. The preparation and electrical conductivity of gels based on PMMA are described in the experimental part.
The Temperature Dependence Of The Specific Conductivity Of Electrolytes for Lithium - ion Batteries
Svoboda, Petr ; Sedlaříková, Marie (referee) ; Máca, Josef (advisor)
This thesis deals with the measurement of the temperature dependence of the specific conductivity of aprotic electrolytes for lithium - ion batteries. Samples that consisted of a mixture of aprotic solvents and salts with alkaline metals were prepared. Sulfolane in combination with another aprotic solvent was used in a mixture of solvents in all cases. Furthermore this thesis deals with the determination of the apparent activation energy of solvents and mixtures of solvents.
The influence of alcaline accumulators loading on their parameters
Čech, Ondřej ; Vrbický, Jiří (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with alkaline battery characteristics and it has special consideration of nickel-cadmium cells. There are three main experimental parts in this paper. First one is concerned with positive electrode materials properties and is aimed to investigate impact of magnesium ions formed into nickel hydroxide electrode structure. Second part deals with battery charging/discharging and response measurement tool design. National Instruments hardware PXI modules for data acquisition was used and program in LabView environment was made. Last one is concerned with nickel-cadmium cell properties changes during increased temperature stressing. Investigation of cell self-charge changes during lithium hydroxide addition into electrolyte was made.
The research on electrochemical and material characteristics new developed layered electrode materials for lithium-ion batteries
Kratochvíl, Miroslav ; Jirák, Tibor (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with electrode materials for lithium-ions accumulators, concretely layered materials prepared via new methods. The main objective of this work is dealing with new procedures prepare electrodes of newly developed layered electrode materials and subsequently their measure. Another challenge was a theoretical analysis of newly developed layered electrode materials for positive and negative electrodes and their preparation of new procedures. In this work the detailed procedures for the preparation of individual electrodes, electrolytes and other issues associated with these preparations. There were describing batteries of general, primary and secondary lithium cells, fuel cells, Lithium-ion batteries, layered materials forming the electrodes and of course the history these cells. Practical work is focused on separate measurements layered electrode materials prepared by new processes and assessment of results for individual layered materials. In the practical part has been made that the newly prepared layered electrode materials offer higher capacity and voltage.
Thin layer for electrochromic devices
Pelčák, Vít ; Macalík, Michal (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with creation of transparent conductive layers on glass substrate, which serve as underlay for electrochromic layers. Zinc acetate dissolved in methane and distilled water serves as basis of solution. We are searching for optimal amount of either Fluor or Boron in depositted solutions to achieve best transparency and layer conductivity.
New gel electrolytes based on copolymers for electrochemical power sources
Peterová, Soňa ; Sedlaříková, Marie (referee) ; Veselkova, Iuliia (advisor)
This thesis deals with description of preparation and use of monomers and copolymers for gel polymer electrolytes usable in electrochemical power sources. This thesis is divided in theoretical and experimental part. The theoretical part describes electrolytes focused on gel polymer electrolytes, measuring methods and materials used for experiments. The experimental part deals with calculation of composition of polymer electrolytes, method of preparation and evaluation of measured results. The method of applying GPE to a negative LTO electrode and a positive NMC electrode is described too. Linear Sweep Voltammetry (LSV) and Potentiostatic Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (PEIS), Cyclic Voltammetry (CV) and Galvanostatic Cycling with Potential Limitation (GCPL) were chosen for measurement of properties.
